Fan of war isn't banned in esea and is a decent side-grade to the boston basher. It's annoying sure, but its very usable.

I'll fix the whitelist tonight as soon as the servers die down. Can't really change it while the servers are full

Oh, I didn't know that it wasn't whitelisted in ESEA. Nevermind then. I just don't like getting one-shotted by sollies after I've been hit with the fan-o-war right after spawning. :\ Oh well.

Server IPs were changed and then took forever to update on the website.

DM with snipers is horrible, thats why. Spawn then immediately get headshotted? No thanks

I don't care about that, I just hate getting bodyshotted from across the map as i jump.

If you want to use all those unlocks, play on the eXtv DM servers, if you don't want to have to deal with them, play on the TF.TV DM servers. If no one plays on the eXtv ones anymore, then it should be obvious why.

I'd like a DM server that uses ESEA's whitelist.

I'd be fine with this but only if Fog's servers had one more slot per team. I feel like 4 people per team is too few to have sniper as an option. If it were 5v5, then headshot-only sniper would be fine.

EDIT: Also, why were the gunboats re-allowed? Do people need to practice taking less damage when they rocket jump? Don't they realize that you regain health if you kill someone? Just deal with taking a little extra damage when rjing, and practice aiming (weird concept, I know).

So we have people begging for gunboats to be banned, everyone acknowledges that it's for morons and not in the spirit of practicing, then seagull posts that he wants it back and within a week they're re-added.

Let the eXtv DM servers have the unlocks, and keep the TF.tv ones pure. Or reverse, it, I don't really care, but since there seems to be such a huge split in the community (not really, it sounds like most people prefer to have gunboats banned), then half the DM servers should allow it, and the other half should keep it banned.

Not all unlocks are useful for improving your DM ability. That's what DM servers are for.

But you don't have to use them. If someone wants to jump around how does that prevent you from DMing?

I'm going to be watching over the gunboat situation very carefully, I personally wanted to keep them banned, but I also need to consider what other players want.

Also, it wasn't just seagull's post that made me decide to try unbanning them.
