honestly i'd wait for a nice HD torrent, so much nicer to get the full experience on a big screen, especially with a visually stunning show like this

Yeah I'm really looking forward to this season. I really hate that I have to wait to pirate it, when I'd be more than willing to pay for access to the series or to HBO. But there's no way I'm wasting my money on regular cable just to get HBO. :(

Very awesome start the series. Only scene I didn't like was the first one. I loved the changes they made to the series from the book, especially Barristan being revealed already. Some things just don't work going from book to screen, and D&D understand that.

I cringed as much watching the nipple-cutting scene as I did when I read it.

I just finished watching it and I'm mad. As of today I was only about a fourth of the way through the third book so the selmy shit is spoilers.

Well the books are quite a bit different from the show - they'll get on major plot points but they've still written out several characters and added a few that don't exist in the books.
