As you all know I am infamous for being massive garbage in every first person shooter I have ever played, which technically would answer the question already. I just wanted to know if you guys wanted me to stop playing FPS games personally so I can play other genres of games like fighting games such as samurai shodown. Let me know what you think.
Don't be discouraged by being bad at videogames despite playing them all the time. In fact, that fact alone might guarantee you a position at Polygon.
#2 comes off as really dismissive but it's true. we really don't care and you should do what you like. don't feel bad about being bad at games because that is not the point – it's about having fun. if you go around and stop doing things you enjoy because you are not "good" at them then that reveals a deep character flaw that you should spend some time thinking about because it's not going to go away simply by doing other things.
if you think fps games are fun then play them. don't let other people decide for you what you get to do
Not only do I desperately want you to give up playing fps games, I pray every night for the removal of your ability to post, view, and exist anywhere within the very small and sacred community that I have come to call home. Please god, stop.

cre8, dont give up on your fps dreams. compared to top level players you have very little playtime so theres still tons of room for you to improve as long as you keep playing.
single player games would be best for u the genre doesnt matter but maybe minecraft
the important question is whether playing fps games, or tf2 specifically, makes you happy. in general you should continue activities if you're getting something out of them, and in tf2's case the pretty much only thing you can get out of this game is happiness.
have you considered that you might be bad at fps games because you're on a toaster computer with integrated graphics?
as a response to everyone (except tambo) there are a few points that are very clear i need to work out on. one i dont have as much time as many of you guys in tf2 for example. two i am using a toaster computer with integrated graphics, yes thats true. and three i did not have fun because of how the people reacted to what i did at the times back in 2017-2018 as that was the most toxic part of my life in tf2. but i just realized that there is one class i can actually have fun with in 6v6 that ive been having fun with on my xbox days, and that people would be the scout himself! the demoman wasnt fun at all but i knew the scout was! so i need to figure out a new style of experience as a scout. ill keep taking responses but i havent gotten this many positive responses before. thank you all for making me feel better about myself

rookie mistake. you need to wait until you've gained at least 1 other upfrag before upfragging yourself. if you're still at 0 after say 3+ hours, its a dead post and you may aswell forget about it
what about if you get downfragged but you still think you're right?
upfrag it from -1 back to 0 and hope everyone else thinks you're right
a lot of u be posting thinking that his threads are taking years off ur life when its really not that serious
Jesus Christ, cre-8, we've been over this. You don't practice. You're causing yourself to go through this self-destructive cycle of feeling like you're not good enough, just because you don't practice. You saw how much i improved through pugging and DM servers, that's the key, and if you can't push yourself to do it, then you shouldn't be playing competitively.
