how is everyone adjusting to their online classes?
personally, I can't retain information very well online so it's hurting my grades quite a bit
maybe it's not that deep but idk, maybe someone else out there feels the same?

yeah online class sucks, I wanna do my hw at da quad
i havent been to one, being at home makes me so lazy automatically
im sorry teach i dont have a working webcam and microphone so i can only sit here and listen sorry
i have done nothing with my online classes. only one of them is actually trying to keep the class going, but theres a reason i didnt sign up for online classes in the first place. just not a format i do well with. also idk how were supposed to do chemistry labs online.
i would be doing fine but i can't work on my senior design project that is required for graduation that i have to present in a week because the parts are all in florida
My online classes aren't great because most of my courses were lab courses :/ I feel bad for the folks who are graduating this semester and don't get to have a real graduation ceremony.
real classes (VLSI for me) haven't changed
capstone/general education requirements and other worthless chaff take less time/effort since they were already run poorly
probably a bad time to try to learn anything but, for large non-lab projects that were already asynchronous, there's no real change

better because i can just read the textbook for 20 minutes to absorb the math content instead of listening to my teacher talk about her kids for half the class
i have online "classes" but they're essentially just office hours, every class is giving me a big packet of work to do each week. this format is my worst nightmare because i am so bad with procrastinating, so im just throwing away the idea of keeping A's at this point and just trying to graduate. it sucks that my graduation/prom were cancelled, but im more annoyed at how my school is handling this whole online transition.
the only online class i need is the scout class hahaha
4 hours a day monday to friday and I made the mistake of telling everyone that I got a new mic so I can't just lie and say I don't have one. It's so much worse than normal class, but at least I'm able to tab out and do different stuff
thankfully none of my classes are synchronous, I have prerecorded lectures I can listen to whenever. would actually die if I had a single class held at 8am or 9am.
not keeping up with work very well, no motivation to watch a lecture when I'm at home. on top of helping out around the house, online school sucks. i just wanna go back already man

I'm enjoying it to be honest, I've been watching my lectures from bed. I can see how classes would be cumbersome but luckily I don't have any.
I'm not much of a fan of it. I lecture in front of a camera for three or so hours, then upload to youtube so the kids can watch and work on their assignments. One positive thing I tell them is that, unlike real life, they can pause me when they need to go to the bathroom and not miss anything.
