You're right. I hope the things I said didn't come across as needless trashtalking but this thread in general is just disappointing to read. Game's dying and all we know how to do is bickering at each other.

I know making jokes at the broadcaster's expense is commonplace on twitch but not everyone has to be okay with it. You can't call truktruk rude just because he doesn't want to deal with certain kinds of attitudes in his chat. None of us are saints but my few interactions with the guy have been pleasant, respect him and he'll respect you back (which can be said of almost anyone who isn't an asshole anywhere. Funny how that works.)
sibbsjust when u think, damn b4nny hasn't done anything autistic to offend anyone lately, he does this https://twitter.com/4G_b4nny/status/895827165907898369
Case in point.
I feel like people try to turn a blind eye to his attitudes because "oh but he is an asset to the community and doing a lot to keep tf2 alive" and while that may be true, I find most of said attitudes towards tf2 people in particular insufferable. Although I understand he worked his way there, it makes me a bit sad that he is the main representative of comp tf2 to comp players, casual players and even Valve. There are many people I would prefer to him in that spot.
Funs4hpWho's the neutral good guy? Sorry, European here.slemnish
You LIED to me
Firehow do i not instantly die to spam on snake mids
This but badlands, that mid always feels so crampy and scary for me
that b4nny picture makes me chuckle every single time

If back in 2007 Valve did the same aggressive marketing of a tf2 esports scene that Blizzard did with Overwatch last year, the game would probably wind up just as or more successful than OW is now. (let's ignore that with the whole OW League business Blizz seems to be shooting themselves in the foot and alienating esports orgs)
Unfortunately it's ten years later and Valve has shown time and time again they won't put the necessary effort and $, so no, it won't happen. Ofc comp tf2 is still cool, but it only makes sense to view it as a hobby, not as something to do professionally.
IIRC when zebbosai played roamer he sniped quite a bit
(and I think TviQ may have played roamer in a team or two? But yeah if a good sniper ends up on roamer he'll usually give it a shot, there's no meta reason against it I think)
gemmSchweppesThe Terminal
i somehow got this confused with airplane at first and got confused
I'm still sad that Leslie Nielsen is dead...
u wanna join my eu hl team? pyro ofc
on a more serious note, even ignoring that this is a bad idea, I think there's no point in discussing anything about pyro until the update comes.
http://logs.tf/6035 I am the 25 death medic.
Fun story, this was the first official for myself but also the first official of the enemy team Tourettes Chessclub, who went on to win prem HL twice.
That's because the invite scene is literally pro wrestling. Ascent and Paddie in particular are the self-proclaimed villains that are paradoxically fan favourites because they're more interesting characters, and b4nny is like a Roman Reigns who exists as the powerhouse of the game that everyone wants to beat, and the fans want to see beaten.
