Requesting that eXTv does not make a video explaining weapon bans without community discussion.
Whenever there's a 6v6 discussion with pub players it always ends up with them asking about specific weapon bans, and I see a lot of 6v6 players giving incorrect reasons behind the bans. Then the pub players point out the flaws and make us look bad.
Anything eXTv posts about it will be taken as the definitive explanation by pub players.
Qun was my source for scout vods when I was getting into comp. Dota 2 claims another
Bump. Available for tryouts all week
Thanks guys. Bumping for tryouts tonight
Enthusiastic scout who's been playing the game for a long time but never really got deep into competitive. Open to feedback and looking to improve constantly. Ends up with 15-20 assists every game somehow. Does a great spongebob impression. Sexy pistol aim. Gl foil.
Arry is awesome and great to play with. Certified gril, smart player, good addition to a team. Good luck Arry.
Tried to make a team with some friends but it didn't work, so now I'm lft.
I main scout, mostly pugged before this due to my old job, and as a result I'm pretty familiar with soldier, demo, and medic too. Average dm, but I think I'm a pretty smart player. I'm west coast, available every night minus the occasional night shift, but those usually happen on friday or saturday. I'm looking for an open team that scrims consistently and frequently. I could be talked into playing a different class for the right team.
if you're interested add me: http://steamcommunity.com/id/alleal
I play full time with cl_first_person_uses_world_model 1. It's the best of viewmodels and no viewmodels and I love seeing my feet.
To my understanding, this poll basically asks how much money we'd like to pay into the prize pot. Most players probably don't care about the prize pot, and any extra money paid into it is purely symbolic support for the league. I believe that a league fee is mandatory in order to ensure commitment and competition, but I don't think the $ amount is actually important (provided it's not unreasonably low or high).
I'm not particularly interested in paying extra into the prize pot, but I am interested in paying to directly support and improve our league. As of now (assuming my info is up to date) CEVO plans to provide the structure for the league, handle the money for the prize pot, and provide anticheat. I would happily pay $25 or more if it meant the money would go towards paying writers covering the divisions, official league match servers, periodic events similar to the Zowie Invitational, and hiring enough league admins that all problems can be resolved before they significantly effect matches.
I think that these are the areas in which CEVO needs to be strong, because they are where ESEA is weak. They dropped coverage for everything but invite, have unreliable servers, have no extra events, and only two admins to cover every division. I understand that it's a lot to throw together before next season, and CEVO probably isn't prepared for these kinds of steps yet, but I think that this poll we're answering is asking the wrong question.
I would still be happy to pay more this season for the above services, even if they don't begin until the next one.
Jump server looks nice, but no RTV or nominate. Also the cfg only runs for 30 mins which imo is too short for jump maps. 45 or an hour would be better. Some of the maps are outdated, and imo you should remove the quad and defrag maps. I'd say conc too but some people like conc.
Thanks for hosting though
Are they just making up formats? I see ladders for 1v1-6v6, and no page for rules or restrictions. I'm going to be upset if they just ignore the entire competitive community and make up their own stupid rules. As if we don't have enough problems being taken seriously already.
mage24365This too.
The problem is that they unbalanced a bunch of weapons and didn't balance anything.
But they're changing things, and that's a huge step up from where we were before. Maybe their balancing philosophy involved a blindfold and a dart board but at least something is happening.
eeeThe difference is the diamond back isn't a new strategy. It's literally getting a reward for what you were going to do anyway. If scout got a weapon that made him insta kill after getting a meatshot, it wouldn't change scout strategy, it'd just be a scout doing his job and getting a buff for doing what he was already going to do. There's better ways to buff spy, giving him a babymode ambassador isn't one.
You're completely right. It's a free easy to use upgrade that doesn't change spy strategy at all. But it doesn't change the meta either. It doesn't make Spy disproportionately more powerful. There's no reason to ban it.
