I don't believe it does work with AMD sadly, there might be a custom version out somewhere made for those cpu's. To my knowledge only intel available atm

I'll setup a base server for a test run, then contact one of the guys above for whoever would want to config it.
I will leave it among them to spread the rcon / administration type stuff around.
I know they are working on the server list similar to the ones over at natf which is now transferring here(i think). What would be the thought on having actual teamfortress.tv servers where streamers or higher level competitive players have admin to do anything necessary. Also would anyone be willing to donate a public server for the cause. I wouldn't mind putting up a server for it.
On the other hand would it just be too much since there are a billion skial and lotus clan whatever servers which people can already goto?
Finally if the idea is something to be taken into consideration what would the ideal size be ect..... and would anyone else be willing to go with the cause.
What type of laptop? Does it have a newer or older cpu? If it isn't too much of an old cpu and is also intel.

Throttle stop will stop cpu idling and basically act like an overclock for your laptop. It will also have the cpus perform at max settings disregarding interrupts focusing more on the process at hand games ect....
Just make sure you don't set your laptop to "boost" all the time, just set it to the max cpu multiplier your cpu can handle aka it's max frequency not boosted with intel boost.
If you are going to an actual business or corporate dress to the T. How you dress is how they will look at you. If you go in looking like some guy who takes it easy, they will assume you are not serious and in other cases a joke. Depending on the variation of questions, if it relates to doing a job using a specific software suite or code. Hit them with the book. Be precise and give variations of solutions. Most places are looking for a specialization in one area and then jack of all trades to everything else. Be personable, they don't want a machine. Don't EVER be intimidated. They don't want someone who is there to be walked on. They want someone with similar values and who can handle people. Hit on your strong points and bend your weaknesses (if they hit an area you may not be competent in.) Assure them you are willing to learn and keep up with technology. Most IT based jobs are looking for stability, personality, and values similar to theirs. You are not there just for a job, you are there to aim high and eventually push them to the next step in their businesses growth. Make yourself an asset.
I was an executive chef for a while and had to interview all kinds of people but it was a fine dining restaurant with a meager income of just over a million a year. Even in that environment, guys coming in for a dish washing job would come in a button up and tie. That sounds ridiculous but it shows how serious you are about what you are after.
Good luck and have fun with it.
and you thought Mcdonald actually served real food. wtf is fast food?
There are people who would pay to have their game like that all the time.
.....ummmm very few games utilize TCP.........

Did i mention those are almost all of the lowest prices for the cards :X (with a decent / known name)
Well if lansky's approach doesn't work. Just look at the issues of other teams and be happy you are not them. You guys may lose, but that just means you can improve. You come on here and see teams bickering over the stupidest shit on earth. Be happy you aren't them. There are worse things than losing, play it out and do what you can.
Thanks for everyone who got in contact with me. I'm going to close out for now. Got a few good people who got in contact with me up and contributing the rest to Cinq's new system for the tf2 community as a whole.
Thanks
Apollo
Yea, i have an actual box. It's colocated. Right now it only has 3 servers on it. What are the specs it needs?
Tried to contact you before on it, but if you ever need more servers in que toss me a message. I do have a question though. This may or may not be the place, but you can probly give me some insight.
Cinq put together a great pug system, there is also newbie mix, but what gets me is why does it seem like most of the TF2 community is segregated? Also i see a public vent in the IRC channel. Is there a mumble everyone gathers on as well or any specific place people gather?
Awesome job on putting together the system btw.
