I know some sites offer a "theme" trade button or something of the sort. But the best thing is to do is "K.I.S.S" ( Keep It Simple Stupid ). Don't fix what isn't broken whether it be mechanics or appearance.

Just as a reference for the sourcemod updates. Here are the links for the latest snapshots and files needed for the meta / source fixes.

I actually had to replace the metamod included with the latest snapshot from their site as well.
Well, i don't mean to be a downer here. But here is the thing about NS2. Fall 2009 was the original release date. Some may know if you are from NS1. The graphics look amazing. But here comes the big overlaying problem.
Complexity, actual gameplay, and what it takes to host a server online.
Ok so complexity is just a learning curve NP, but they don't even have a decent balance. Game play can be OK if you pick the right server, even then as a marine you have 1000 things that can block your fov and clutter up your screen blocking you from any hope of tracking. On the other side aliens are HUGE. There are certain holes / halls you literally can't miss if you wanted too, even then you would still possibly hit them blindfolded. The server average for a 20-24 is well above any 3.4 ghz cpu. Ranging up to overclocks of around 4ghz+ minimum for a steady tickrate. Which the tickrate itself is locked at a low value. 30's if i remember right. Now needless to say this can all be fixed in time. I'm sure everyone will have their initial fun. It just simply has a long way to go since their promised release of Fall 2009 if that says anything about their development and fixing things. They have a couple more people, but the issues are there. Lets just hope it does not turn into another wait until v3.2 multiple years later to fix and make things right so it is not a plain stomp fest. You will seriously either love or hate the game, but with all the problems around and other things. Well.....good luck.
For those who enjoy it, awesome. For those who played the predecessor. Well i'm pretty sure you are just happy it finally came out and you can abuse everything to your advantage.
Make money get bitches, million dollar ideas don't go anywhere until you make them happen.
Sourcemod is broken, known. The server isn't crashing at all. For the evening both the 24/7 and Normal server will be running non stop koth_lakeside_event.
In faith of the event and to keep the pub rotation on a good spree. There will be a 24/7 halloween event server for the upcoming madness.

INC extra server for 24/7 halloween events until it expires
Coffee my friend brought me back from Belize. :D
I was doing pretty good. Then the other day the data center told me my server was causing a network spike so they took it offline. Later i found out it was trolling their network at about 90 megabytes a second. FML
But it's ok. The pub will live on and troll their network for the next year or whenever. All is well in the world. Life is good.
I went from normal cigs to ecigs and it pretty much helped me quit altogether.
Just to give you a heads up that particle list is outdated, they fixed that with previous updates.
Best thing since sliced bread. 2012
HLstatsx enabled. Working on some other "fun" type stuff for pre / end game not modifying the actual play. Added pre-game mayhem.
This plugin doesn't affect stats. On waiting for players allows FF and instant respawn.
Well if you wanted to test if you were being hit like a DDos, just have a cmd in the background running ping -t google.com If it spikes during the times and dramatically goes up. Your ISP may have an issue. The other things you can do is stuff like tracert "ipaddy" to see if you have any dropped hops or things causing disconnects. In best accordance if you have access to it you could force reset your modem to ensure you are not getting an IP switch or dhcp timeout at that specific time. Most modems you can connect to through a home network by typing 192.168.100.1 in any browser. There are generally reboot buttons in there to restart the modem. In a final effort just to see what you are working with you could do a speedtest to see if you are getting the bandwidth you are supposed to and then once again it will fall back to your ISP. Sorry for the long winded explanation but those are your test checks before you either figure it is your ISP causing it, or your computer. In the case it is ISP, call them and say WTF.
Almost forgot ctrl c will stop the ping -t command that continuously pings whatever IP. It is easier to monitor on a second screen in the latter, on a death or something when it does start to drop. Alt tab and ctrl C it to see if your ping did in fact spike up.
This is mainly an exposure thing. Public rotation is good for the most part and it gives a fresh turn. But for netting in a steady base and since most people also had the idea there earlier.
What about having a 24/7 badwater or something as well to accommodate that crowd. Also adding in a pre-game during the waiting for players like mini duel or something of the sort.
I've secured the box, added back in fastDL, and done some in most cases overkill security measures. The usage of the current server is only 5% that is at full capacity 24/24.
