i dont want to damage my new gpu but im scared if i just make a scratch behind the graphics card it would die

Will i have good fps or no lag at all while playing video games

I am going to build in next month or so

After i replaced my laptop's charger my pc have been facing fps lag

when i start tf2 i used to get 200 fps now i get 20-50 fps everytime i am playing

if the lag is too much laptop just shuts down automatically
any help?
