++ for detailed review.
how does the material feel? got a good grip with it?
(for reliability's sake, i wouldn't recommend using a mouse (or keyboard) through any external hub.)
TwistedWow that's fucking garbage specs for the price.
nothing wrong with the specs, other than not being able to poll at 1000hz.
sensor and switches are fine. low weight is preferred by many gamers.
other than that, it's really down to materials(build quality) and mouse implementation.
though, personally i never understood why people have been so hyped over this one.
the 3310 is no big deal anymore as it's found in plenty of mice nowadays.
above all, i simply don't understand the price for an OEM shell and 500hz.
i know mouse implentation matters, but for a price like this you'd want something more than good sensor implementation.
just maybe, if the cost was halved...
FireChichaMaybe it would be helpful to include a section/link to a guide on how to get the best mouse sens for you. Many guides overlook this and I think it influences a lot on your gameplay.Do you mean what cm/360 is best?
This guide should be "use the sens you like".
Tho you can include using raw input/no accel tho ( or if you want you can include the good accel tutorial that was around here a while ago )
pretty sure that's exactly what he said.
because you can't know 'your perfect sens' unless you've played around with it a bit. i've seen a simple method posted here before that would be suited just fine for a guide like this.
edit: i'd suggest adding a whole section specifically for mice.
because hardware, software/drivers and mouse settings are all important enough to have been mentioned.
and nobody has to be told what he should or shouldn't use, but i think it's fair to teach the basics and encourage them to try different things out.
because that guy with 400 fps and good net settings will still mess up or perform inconsistently if his mouse is crap or his settings are way off.
+1 for the initiative Silky
i love to look in here and see that you're getting shit done
just awesome work, cheers guys
i would just keep changing the sens in ratz until it feels good-perfect to you.
because i'm not sure anyone can provide you with an answer right now, or ever.
just trial-and-error until your sens feels good beats waiting for someone to give you an answer, i think.
besides, maybe the ratio someone else found wouldn't be the same for you, because:
(quoting a dev from Ratz) "It's a different engine, so you need to figure out your mousespeed on your own, sorry!"
hi, is this the impersonator thread?

SakiIsaBucakecan you change this command on-the-fly? (as in, without leaving a game.)
it's such a drag if you have to leave a server and re-enter just to see the effect of changing the value of a command :E
Looks like you can. Brief test in offline mode showed significant decrease in frames when I changed it in large amounts but I think it helped my frame skipping/micro stuttering on hitting a target a little?
Not sure.
Paging comanglia, wareya, panzer or setsul please.
thanks for the reply :-)
i'll try it out tonight

what a fucking boss
so how is progress on this game going? like, update frequency, state of net-code, optimization(fps)..?
i played a bit of skullmonkeys (emulated on PC), but unfortunately the genre/gameplay (platformer) just isn't for me.
really tried to get through it, because i wanted to hear the awesome soundtrack and see the awesome clips, but alas :>
