Is the caster and streamer list up to date? I heard that truktruk (not Lange) will be streaming and rumors of djc not covering?

kenno asian :(
Make it happen, then!
cu@, will donate later when I can foresee how much money I'll have left at the end of the month.
scrabdid you decide on what ESA stands for yet??
If I told you, I'd have to kill you :|
We plan NA tournaments for TF2 from day 1. The prizes are paid out in Great British Pounds (the company is based in the UK) immediately after the tournaments end into the ESA wallet and funds can either be used to extend the premium subscription, join pay-to-play tournaments or you can withdraw the funds at any time (e.g. via PayPal).
Long term the ESA is looking at hosting servers as well but for now organising a server will be the teams' responsibility.
Cro0Ked_for some reason i can't reserve my alias :( do i need to be on a windows box or something?
CanFoThe site will be moved to a new server in the next days, hopefully the error of not being able to reserve an alias can be fixed then.
I will post in here as soon as I get confirmation the error is fixed.
Yes, atmo. Slowly but steadily working towards the launch. ESA just kept rather quiet for the time being, because there is nothing to show at the moment.
toothJump on that enigma/mocha/whoever else works in the shadows around here. I imagine a tournament organized by teamfortress.tv would fare much MUCH better than any CEVO/ESEA(or other group) tournament.
Tournament organiser will obviously be the ESA but I'd be more than happy to recruit TF.TV staff to run the NA side of the tournaments (EU is pretty much covered). I am already in touch with enigma for promotion and coverage but I need someone who can administrate the tournaments (write announcements and support during NA match times). I have already asked some of these shadow people for suggestions but everyone recommended to me is too busy with other projects already. Now I now count on people coming to me to apply (I will look for admins more aggressively when the site is live and we have something to show. This bump from atmo just gave me a reason to mention it).
The site will be moved to a new server in the next days, hopefully the error of not being able to reserve an alias can be fixed then.
The development of the site was delayed by a lot but is entering one of the final stages in the next week so stay tuned. It will be worth the wait.
In the meantime, if anyone thinks he/she is capable of hosting at least 3-4 tournaments per month for the US community, please talk to me.

HildrethTo answer your question though, you just go to Team Admin on the top right corner (http://etf2l.org/wp-admin/) and go to Teams then go the team page you want to remove yourself from then hit Remove.
Not quite. That only works, if you are team leader. If you have no leader rights, go to your "Edit Profile" page at http://etf2l.org/wp-admin/profile.php and remove your self from any team you want.
The ESEA LAN concept does not intend for a crowd, afaik.
To have TF2 at an event with a large crowd would be awesome, I agree. I doubt it is going to happen too soon, probably next time at i49.
I do not want to play the party pooper here (I even was one of the first people who posted in that thread) but TF2 had its chance at the ESL (even at major tournaments such as the ESL Major Series) and blew it. The section eventually got closed because of inactivity (possibly caused by ESL Wire, which caused problems for many TF2 players).
I doubt this would change, if the section was reopened. Without a TF2 loving sponsor, the game will not receive any prizes except for ESL Premium and there would be next to no reason for anyone to play TF2 in the ESL but "to support the game" (and this will not be worth it for most, as shown in the past).
There have been issues with the nameservers of our hoster. Once the domain has propagated through your DNS server, you will be able to access the site through the normal way again (I hope this makes sense and does not let me look like an idiot. Hearsay for the win!).
In the meantime, you can either use the direct IP or a proxy to access the site. Alternatively, you can use a different DNS server.
yukiWe wanted to go last time, but it was too late notice for the manager(s) to start pulling things together and it didn't happen :(
As I said, nothing CONCRETE right now, but a lot earlier notice means they're a lot more keen this time :D
I think feral came over for i46
What about me? I was the one undropping them :(
