And yes, I stand by what I said in post #50. White people using the n-word (and other racial slurs), especially in countries like the US or other white-majority countries, is in fact a way to racially agitate a racist white population, to a lesser or larger degree. This does not mean that you are a bad person for being white.

The last paragraph of your original post was essentially about, people calling out others for the use of racial slurs is some sort of racial agitation, and a tool for me and others to maliciously divide the community. You then came to the brilliant conclusion “The reason racial tension is increasing is because in the last 10 years people have started to become less tolerant of the usage of racial slurs.” which is a statement that cannot be taken by face value. Where is the evidence backing this up?

If anything the racial agitation and polarization we see in EU and NA is more directly linked with economic instability causing predominantly conservative people to more or less blame minorities for it. Instead of explicitly mentioning this however, people like you attempt to switch the attention to social issues like “Why can’t I say racial slurs anymore?”. I’m very much aware that racism cannot be solved overnight. At the same time, if anyone is offended when asked, often very politely, to stop using racial slurs there might be some sort of bias clouding their mind.

What I meant is it's not OK to call anyone slurs based on ethnicity or nationality. Therefore we shouldn't argue "which slur is ok to use for whom based on how oppressed they are".

At the same time, using your identity as irish in order to justify using slurs is ridiculous.

I can definately guarantee you that many irishmen are racist toward black people and other immigrants, and I have never heard anyone in this community run around calling others "lephrechauns" or anything else that even comes close to having as much baggage as the n-word does.
