Who is better clockwork at 120Hz or clockwork at 60Hz?

If the answer is 120Hz then it does become a need for competition. Especially if it's instant improvement to go to 120Hz or an instant detriment to go to 60Hz.

That's not saying anyone is shit for playing on 60Hz they're just not going to be no.1 and more than likely they wouldn't be in the top 10 at least for today's standards for scouts, CS:GO, quake, and basically any competition fps.

hal_9000 isn't a fair comparison that video is 4 years old and even then he was using one of the early gaming monitors anyway. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001096 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001378 either way he's playing with 75Hz 2ms gtg at the time their was maybe 2-3 choices for 120Hz monitors all of which either had some kind of significant issue especially input lag or disabled overdrive with poor gtg at 120Hz.

as for powah I remember asking him if he knew what monitor he had like 2-3 years ago. afaik he's never changed it.

can be helpful when you make listen servers, also not all the commands in my config work outside of sv_cheats some are there if valve ever decides to let us use them, and sv_cheats cuts down on the number of errors that will be created for using commands the require it.

the minimum interp possible in the game is 15.2 which my config should do just fine with good connection settings which are enabled by default

Their's a whole host of factors here to consider and the only real comparison you could make between the 2 settings is to compare them side by side with the same monitor and even then this isn't always true. Their are some 144Hz monitors out their that for whatever reason disable overdrive over 75Hz making them quite shitty for competition.

The difference between 60Hz and 120Hz is quite significant but imo the difference of a 5ms gtg to 1ms gtg is much more noticeable. Which would explain the different experiences users have been having when upgrading. People who went from 5ms or even 8ms gtg 60Hz IPS panels to 144/120Hz 1ms gtg panel saw a HUGE difference upon upgrading, while those who had 60-75Hz TN panels that did 1ms to 3ms gtgs saw a much more moderate change to 120/144Hz panels.

Also Powah uses a CRT so saying "He's a god with 75Hz" is a bit of an over simplification of reality. CRTs have no input lag other than the travel time of electrons, consider that when marketers as saying 1ms gtg that's measured against a crt so technically speaking CRTs are 0ms gtg, CRTs also flicker meaning their's significantly less motion blur than an LCD.

Hitscan benefits significantly more with 120/144Hz than projectile classes, which adds to the varying experiences of different users.

Also does this question really need to be asked? Name 1 invite scout in the last 9 seasons that wasn't using a CRT or 120Hz+ LCD

He's a fucking highlander spy main. Albeit he was a god at it, and most of those seasons he backed up anyway.

Idk if you realize this or not, but most people are not always very good at classes they don't main especially when they've been basically not existant for the past 3-6 seasons. Also Platinum HL to Silver 6s is perfectly fine unless all of those platinum HL players are also experienced in ESEA, especially when most of the HL some of them have is non 6s main classes.

to clarify I 100% agree with smobos decision to let them play silver. Which is exactly where the belong with a 3-3 record rofl.

Typically when I have foggy brain issues, or start feeling "off" or "not quite there" it's almost always mild dehydration, allergies, or poor/little sleep.

Build I plan on using.
Idea behind this
S4 blacksmith option to improve knuckles that can be found on raiders in concord and the obvious melee perks
P3 awareness is pretty nice
E7 adamantium skeleton is a requirement imo, life giver due to health regen at a low level (16 to max it out)
C3 lone wanderer has pretty nice buffs and I believe they work with dogmeat following you anyway
I1 none of the perks here matter (for this build) and would only make idiot savant weaker
A5 Action Boy AP regeneration is really nice
L5 Idiot savant would make leveling much faster, bloody mess for bonus damage
sidenote: not sure if it's iron fist or big leagues that knuckles would use for the stat buff

I capped my fps to 95 via the AMD catalyst control center, I assume the Nvidia control panel would have something similar.

sad part is Fallout 4 uses the same engine (maybe with slight changes) as Skyrim a game that was designed for the Xbox 360 and was made 4 years ago.

95% of the issues this game has existed in Skyrim in the EXACT same way.
