did you add anything from m0re's?
I remember in the past, I've tried some of m0re's individual settings that can't be found in other configs (mostly lighting) ,and by the looks of it, they did increase fps quite a bit. Too bad I can't remember any of the settings.
He's got quite a number of different functions that neither comanglia or rhapsody have used in their configs, I'll test them later.

I've searched and tinkered for many hours trying to find the best FPS setup, now that I've found it, I'm willing to share. Credit to Povohat, Chris, Harbl, Insaneicide, JarateKing, Rhapsody, Comanglia, R4ndom, Rage1, Ray, and Stabby for some of the best bits. Installation instructions are located in README.txt at the root of the download. ENJOY
EDIT: Quick word of warning, works with quadcore processors, works only partially if you don't own an Nvidia graphics card.

obsidiianYou can do STV free cam shots from an stv demo and smooths from a pov, but you can't do either one from the other type of demo.

I've started editing my demos to be displayed on my youtube channel (www.youtube.com/user/danpixed). But by observing other frag videos, apparently you can record "freecam" footage. Can anyone explain how to move a camera freely within the demo? Is it something to do with demo smoothing?
