Intellectual v21 - rated r for "really gr8"
When I load it up in 4plug it says version 20, I hope that's a typo.
Wow, I missed the update. If it's ok with you JarateKing I'm going to provide a 4PLUG compatible version of the newest CleanTF2 update.
UPDATE!
> Added stand alone mods, can be managed easier
indecencywats the command to get rid of the lines of text at the top? (minus the fps counter thats my own thing)
also how to turn hats back on, just want to test to see if it'll run fine with hats on/off

Open the custom folder and remove headsfeet.vpk
The console is opened when tab is hit, it should turn off soon afterward:

TarbolinYou should put in the main post two options to download:
- Only the cfg (for updates)
- Package (cfg, custom, extra,...)
Sounds like a good idea. Will do. New config tweak coming soon anyway.
The timer resolution was made by Lucas Hale. It makes your computer read code faster. Negligible FPS boost, but every frame counts!
Try the Old School Pack
PrismHud is a good option
Flat Textures won't help your framerate but looks ugly none the less.
TarbolinWorks perfectly!
My main config from now, thanks!
umm, you might want to download the latest, you get 7+fps than the old update
I've been a basketball addict since I was young, a great artist, helped build houses and fix cars. But every time I load up a game of TF2 my mom screams "YOU'RE WASTING YOUR LIFE" sheesh mom give a guy a break.
R4ndomIt might just be my machine, but I get less fps with the NoHats mod on.
You get less frames with the no hats mod on? not the case with me.
Also, some particles do not load without leaving in -dxlevel 81 in the launch options.
EDIT: The traditional benchmark demo was made in 2013 and doesn't have eotl_pyro_pool_explosion_flash loaded. The resulting red X's lowers your framerate. Benchmarking is not the best test for this pack.
I'm gonna stop messing with things I don't know. I haven't played any of these competitive formats because of my awful framerate. I'm getting around 80 Fps constant in crowded areas. Before this pack, I used to get 40 Fps.
UPDATE:
- R4ndom's net settings restored
- I need some aspirin...
I don't know what I'm doing D: I thought cl_cmdrate 66.6666~ was max? do HL and 6's servers allow higher? why 1 above 100?
whoa I messed up on the network settings! will change posthaste! I've removed some vars not fit for the pack. tf_dingaling etc.
EDIT
// _______________
// | NET |
// `````````````````
//These are my net settings both LAN and Online
//
rate "100000" // Max bytes/sec the host can receive data.
cl_cmdrate "66.666666" // Number of command pakets sent to the server per second.
cl_interp "0.152" // Interpolate x seconds from game (0.02 = 20ms)
cl_lagcompensation "1" // Perform server side lag compensation of weapon firing events.
cl_updaterate "66.666666" // Number of packets per second you are requesting from the server.
cl_smooth "0" // If set to 1 attempts to smooth the view after prediction errors.
cl_smoothtime "0.1" // Time over which to smooth the view after prediction errors if cl_smooth is enabled.
cl_interp_threadmodeticks "0" // Additional interpolation ticks to use when interpolating with threaded engine mode set.
cl_pred_optimize "2" // Optimize for not copying data if didn't receive a network update (1), and also for not repredicting if there were no errors (2)
cl_interp_ratio "1" // Sets the interpolation amount (final amount is cl_interp_ratio / cl_updaterate).
net_queue_trace "0"
Look fair to you? or should I go with what you already have. (I was experiencing hitreg issues with your net settings)
Kryptso was there an update to the config or?
as far as I know, there was none. Comanglia, R4ndom and I are working on a new one. It gives about 8-10 better fps.
Here it is. Works better with my entire MaxFPS pack. (R4ndom's cfg)
