This shouldn't be something an organizer get criticized for, what does matter how how they respond to these unpredictable events and work towards preventing them the next time around.

I had to lower my mouse sense since i would get dizzy if my flicks were too fast

Wifi is susceptible to connectivity interference
See if you can borrow a powerline adapter and then check to see if you're getting the same kind of connection issue

Afterglow I got the steam mobile app literally as soon as it came out. I'm like 99% sure there was no policy on chain banning like this... Definitely would've noticed it. They've since updated their ToS and I just didn't know about it.
The chain banning has been a thing for quite some time. In fact it was a major point of discussing during the april vac wave that affected lmaobox. Sucks
