MR_SLINThis is a great win for the TF2 community but it's a loss for UGC because it undermines the credibility of the UGC anti-cheat system/team.
Thats is a super unfair and incorrect statement.
UGC's admins rely on reports to investigate players.
If no one reports, no one is checked into unless it's completely blatant.
An issue in UGC is that nobody wants to be "that little bitch" who reports players then gets the reputation of being a salty sore loser.
The amount of messages I have received in the past 2 hours has blown up my steam chat, all messages of people saying "I fucking knew it but didn't want to see anything in case I was wrong"
This is my actual chat window right now FULL of gold and plat players giving a sigh of relief that their suspicions were valid. http://i.imgur.com/fiR3dlT.png
BUT NONE OF THEM EVER REPORTED SHIT.
thank you based flat
People keep telling me to switch to toonhud which updates quick but I prefer the look of flathud over anything else

It's not unless someone else took over the project.
I've spoken to Orange a handful of times in the past couple of months and he has shown 0 interest in updating it.
can you make him upload the source somewhere? i could only find this this and this, neither of which actually contain source code
I'll ask
ShpeeismeI'm not sure if prec is still being updated

fatswimdudereminds me a lot of George Miller's career
Or how about George Romero
I should also mention that I live in the dick tip of Florida so traveling anywhere from here sucks.
Whoops
Honestly, Romero was a visionary back in the day but is way past his prime now.
The last "big project" he has was Daikatana 16 years ago and that game was a total flop
mya when i flew to fites i definitely didnt spend 1300 on my whole weekend rofl
~350 plane ticket
~100 hotel split a few ways
~150 food/lan costs
~100 other
You split a hotel. All of the lans I've attended I've paid for the room myself entirely and would spend 2-3 days there.
GXL 2015 and FLan 2015 trips both cost me about the same, buutttt I did rent a car to drive to Orlando to FLan so that didn't help.
If you're attending a lan that requires you to fly and get a hotel expect to have a budget ready of about $1300 USD
Driving should bring that number down a bit.
There are plenty of smaller lans in the community but most of your cost is in Airline/Hotel/Food more than anything else, regardless of the size of the actual lan.
We big time now, boyz.

Florida Lan will take place during the 13th & 14th of August at the DoubleTree Hotel & Convention Center in Miami, Florida.
Located at : 711 N.W. 72nd Avenue, Miami, Florida, 33126, USA
It's roughly a 10 minute drive from Miami International Airport so taking a taxi or Uber should be fairly simple
You can make your hotel reservations here:
http://doubletree3.hilton.com/en/hotels/florida/doubletree-by-hilton-hotel-miami-airport-and-convention-center-MIAMADT/index.html
They have really awesome rates, as low as $109 a night.
You can purchase your event tickets or donate to help contribute to the event at www.flan.tf/campaign
