KaiThePhauxI had this problem with my laptop before the harddrive failed on it. I'd run a check on it.
A while ago a turned off one of my ssds to allocate more ram to stuff I use or something. Could that be the problem?
2cdont use windowed anything if you are on windows8
only use windowed on win7 if you are using classic theme
I run tf2 in full screen mode. Composition is disabled
stabbyMake sure you have Raw Input enabled.

ScrewballYouhitting your fps cap in TF2 causes input lag for some people.deetrIf you use ingame mouse accel the fps drop from the latest update might be fucking with itI have mouse accel off (or at least according to the options menu its off). But I typically get somewhere near my cap of 131 anyway
Try uncapping it.
I actually did uncap it recently and I found that I got strange projectile lag. I also use a laptop (I don't have a good reason) and it causes it to heat up pretty fast. I've also had an fps cap for years and I never received any input lag.

Hi,
For the past two weeks I've been very uncomfortable with my mouse movement. I couldn't exactly put my finger on exactly what felt off, but everything feels incredibly slow. Its particularly noticeable when strafing or trying to flick shot. I don't know if its mental or if there is an actual problem with my mouse. I tried taking a break from tf2 (as I usually do whenever I get "off" periods) and upon returning I felt no improvement. I don't want to change my sensitivity as I've been using it for over a year and a half (5.5 inches/360). Any tips/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I use a zowie FK1 if that matters.
I have raw_input enabled and vertical sync and mouse accel disabled.
Jump_alle. Jump_Scorpion is also pretty nice
Don't tell showstopper or no one else will have a chance at winning
Yo, I've noticed since the gun mettle update (maybe before?) that sometimes I get this strange mouse lag. For example, when doing flicks shots or even just strafing, it somethimes feels as though my sensitive has been halved. I remember noticing something when playing on a pub about a week ago. I thought it was related to the subpar fps I was getting (due to the recent update) so I changed back from dx90 to dx81. However I noticed yesterday it was happening again when I was doing my snowplow contract. I also set cl_ejectbrass to 1, but I can't remember if I did it because of the mouse lag or because my TF2 sometimes stutters, so could that potentially be the problem? I also thought vertical sync could have been the problem, but it's set to 0 in my config and my video setting confirm that its disabled.
How has no one mentioned the reserve shooter?
HardingoPlease let this be the follow-up from the letter!

I can't see any other reason that they'd invite a bunch of high level competitive players. But I could just be a dingus I suppose
