I'm very tied. I appreciate that valve knows they can't fuck up again, and they really want to ranked revamp to shine.

But i'm so, so, so tired of being told to wait a little longer. I've waited a little longer for years. If it takes them this long just to fix their mistakes, what hope is there once it's fixed that it will be properly cared for in the long term?

Competitive changes is what I waited this long for. Not pyro pack, not maps, even the weapon changes did not need this much time. I waited for competitive changes. Without that, this update falls short of my personal bar.

It generally releases the day of the final update page. So some time today. - my guess would also be around 5-6 hours from now.

Keep in mind day 4 will likely center around ranked mode. This could influence how whitelists are treated heavily.

Yeah I get that. I think there are other ways to handle the casual side content though and I'm not personally a fan of doing it through just excess weapon skins and community maps. I do like the revised contract system.

it's not my final opinion of the update. I'm optimistic for the next two days. But these two are just hitting the generic update content quota for me.

Glad i've waited 2 years for what is so far just an uninspired summer update. I don't mind new maps and contract skins but so far it really doesn't make up for the wait. Hopefully both of the next days step it up.

Bad sportsmanship. Whether you're winning or you're losing, always treat everybody with respect. When people go the extra mile to make a match specifically unenjoyable for others, you are an awful person and it is not cool.

Also, people who call out tryhards in pubs. Bruh it's a game about killing.

When was the last community item given? wiki lists geel and sig at the bottom of the list but doesn't provide an actual date for them, just curious about how often they are usually rewarded

I wasn't contacted or aware of it until it was announced. It seems to be a euro-based event so it makes sense, last time we had a few problems working around muselk's ping. I'm not particularly close to anybody involved with this event but they still probably have overall higher comp experience than our team did so perhaps they'll take a map...
