Otherwise the vaccinator icon moves to the top right corner of the Ubercharge entry in hudlayout.res no matter what.

Putting your cfg in custom as opposed to the root cfg folder just means steamcloud won't mess with it. (and it loads first) However it might be that you have config in both directories that have a conflict.

#6 Performance difference on Linux and Windows in Q/A Help

If you play on nvidia like me there's basically no difference between the windows and linux versions performance, back when the linux version first came out it actually ran MUCH better than the windows version (on nvidia anyways, I don't think good amd drivers existed back then), but 200 updates later it runs just as badly as the windows version.

Additionally if you use a bunch of mods in the custom folder it increases game startup time to a minute on linux, but lots of mods in general decreases performance anyways.

I like it to look pretty and have as much added functionality as possible. (Like health numbers in target id, using a and d to move through the backpack, etc)

its something that i me and jarkin have been working on
its with hud stuff, you use the vmt's which use to not get scanned and revert them back to the vmt's in an unscanned folder
heres an example of something that can be sv pure proofed
i know other methods of getting around it still but im not gonna do it cuz i dont want them to get taken away

I always thought valve would never touch it since it would break that part of the replay system, but I guess its ok to break something thats already broken.

#3 HUD files with capital letters in Customization

Linux filesystems like ext4 are also case sensitive as well ( i dunno if macs are), so making it all lowercase makes it easy to not break things, I can remember having to rename mods to all lowercase letters for them to load on my mint system.

Not sure if anyone will know what to do with this since its arena (lol) but on the arena winpanel,

But the loser stats refuse to move, even if I delete its code in the res file it still shows up, it seems uneditable.

FINAL EDIT: After looking at m0re hud which also has a fully custom arena winpanel, it seems there is a bug in Eve hud, I finally got the thing working.
