Idk....I think handing out ur work to people is a pretty good form of feedback through testing ingame (what is a beta?) rather than just being like hey guys have a look at my main menu which I worked forever on but the rest of my huds gonna be garbage or just look like ya_hud

Also you're right about the modifications that anybody could replicate. However it's nice for those who don't have the time or patience to put the effort in to learn hud editing and get good at it. Whilst colly and the rest certainly can make some very nice and "unique" things the ideas seem to get ditched every week. why not share ditched ideas to expand existing knowledge of huds rather than just leaving them behind and starting "fresh"?.

and also to be honest as far as originality goes im pretty sure i've seen the same style spechud like 16 times from so many people in this thread
