The keyboards are 'meh'. I'd really recommend bringing your own unless it's somehow not better than the ones there (Despite having "blue" switches of some sort, they felt pretty crappy).

Mousepads are fair sized, but most people probably use bigger ones at home (Mine is a little larger).

Mice are ok, but bring your own.

Headsets are 'meh'. I would bring mine, but I probably won't since I don't absolutely need to.

The font makes me think of Comic Sans. From a distance, the letters look like they have curved ends. It goes well with Google's catering to people and having a more "playful" theme, but I'm not a huge fan.

Working on configs now: We will use EU rules with the ESEA S19 Whitelist. As you could probably guess, Medigun pickups will be banned.

We decided it'd be a bit awkward if Viaduct was the only koth map. Perhaps if we do this again, we could have an experimental map pool and test out other koth maps.

We're basically full. I will close registration pretty soon after writing this.

I'm waiting on Kanon and Hassassin. That will bring the number up to 24. If someone else wants to pay up and play Medic, that'd be nice, then I don't have to. However at this point, I am at capacity.

Wilson, the guy who I've been talking with said he wanted to learn TF2, but he was afraid to play against us!

I believe it was after SoCal or Sacramento LANs last year, there was mention that there is a batch file around somewhere that will wipe cfg and custom folders in the tf directory. Does anyone know where to find this, or the commands to put into a batch file? (I'm bad at coding)

Hey, I went to Hunter & Lucas today, and they let me play some TF2 and chat!

I had some questions, and got some answers:

First off, as I had just edited into the first post, you can bring your own peripherals! There are hubs behind the monitors where you can plug in your stuff.

You are allowed to play PM/Melee/Smesh 4 in the lounge. There is a projector you can hook up to, so no need to worry about a CRT.

I was told no outside food in the venue. There are drinks and chips on sale, and a burger/drink combo for $5. We can simply go out after.

I will be arriving at 11AM, and the venue will be open at 12, and I would like to get things rolling as fast as possible, so please show up for 12!

Just a reminder to post teams here when formed. I will be going to the venue today to sort out some finer details.

I was getting it with the last HUD update (It started doing this randomly in this update), but updating it to the recent HUD version didn't fix it :C

Are there going to be write-ups about the competing teams sometime between now and the LAN?

That has happened to me many times.

I have no objection to it being banned, and I'm surprised this discussion hasn't happened more often, let alone sooner. At the same time, it's one of those weapons that's easy to abuse and rewards low skill, and there are numerous weapons like this in the game. This is coming more from a Highlander perspective, but if we're going to ban the Loose Cannon for being an easy weapon to abuse, there are a number of other cases we can make to ban other weapons.
