I'll always fight for my point of view but I prefer not to spend my time arguing with people who won't impact anything on a legislative level. A few generations will go by, it will be a non-issue, hardly seems worth it to me. Gay marriage is real and a good thing, get over it and worry about actual world issues climate change. Mentality is a big factor in TF2, like any competitive game. Think about how many situations where you lose a fight and people rage and clog comms, all you're focusing on is the negative aspect of the last push rather than the current situation, so often I see teams lose one fight in a push and continue to make individual errors based on poor choices rather than a lack of ability.

Though mentality being described in this scenario is more the qualities that a strong minded leader needs in-game. The one about toxic people is a big example, you don't put people in your team who rage a lot or don't show up to practicing because their attitudes have a toxic effect on everyone else. Just ask Herr P about his experience of playing on a certain team before he struck it big in the TF2 world, I would wager that Herr P learned more about TF2 with 3 gruelling months of rage-filled pcws than he would have for years of playing with friends.

I doubt the admins will see an issue with these changes, the original intention of the hijack rule was more to stop sandbagging, doesn't really fit with the purpose of the rule.

I have had 4 pay-rises and 3 promotions (from Apprenticeship and £2.60 per hour) to my current position heading the most important side of the business in over 2 years. I been helped along by some poor managerial structuring decisions.

Been trying to make a team that will actually go to LAN, of which some players are not confirmed but decided to play the showmatch anyway, just in case they can and will likely need some funding support.

But for the showmatch, in class order: Atomic, Uubers, Steve, Me, Shyyou (From 4-25), San Alex, Kissakala, Tracker and Grenjabob.

Maito can't play - Not confirmed our roster as even going yet, but if we can make a team to make the LAN a reality, we'll try.

The 100-200 or so viewers the shomwatch for HL will bring in could have gone to the 6's one and a portion of the viewers for the 6's showmatch (which I think will peak around 1000) could have helped the Highlander. Not really helping eachother.
First thing the organisers should have done was make sure it didn't clash with anything, considering all they need to do is log into Slack or message eachother on Steam, it's really poor, especially since the HL one had been announced before hand, to me is shows they either didn't care or are neglectful.
