Yes, I think double elimination would take a lot longer, and I'm not sure if people have that much time on their hands. If I did do double elimination, I would probably have to do the tournament for 2 days, and I don't know if I really want to do that to be honest. Unless more people thought that a double elimination would be a lot more fun?

I have decided to do the tournament on April 11th, 2015. It will be on a Saturday from 10est-1est PM (depending on how many people join up into the tourney, it might be longer or shorter, and I might have to adjust the times.) Remember, the deadline to sign up is April 1st, sign up here. If the 2 key buy in is too much, let me know guys. I want this to be convenient for everyone who wants to join into the tournament.

If anything else comes to mind, I will post it here, leave comments on what you think of rules or if you prefer any other rules to be added. Sometimes I forget things. I was also thinking about taking out shotgun jumping, but I don't know how I should define it. Meaning, if I jump in the air while someone else is in the air and fire a rocket, but then pull out my shotgun, is it shotgun jumping, since my intention was not to shotgun jump, but fire a rocket at him while we were both in the air. So, if anyone has any suggestions on how I should define it, feel free to tell me.

The last tournament went very well and I know this one will go well too. The tournament will most likely be in mid to late April, probably on a Friday. I haven't come up with a for sure date on it yet.

If you are participating in the tournament, please keep up with this thread, a few teams (good ones), had to drop out because they forgot that there was a tournament, which was partly my fault too.

Sincostan and Exile, please unban me from the bball servers. I feel like I was banned for no reason and I feel mistreated to be honest. I don't know why I was banned, maybe because you think you can walk all over me because you think I am young? I know that the server is yours, I know I will get hate for putting this up, but what do I do when they don't respond? BBall is honestly the only thing that I play in TF2 and enjoy, please do not take that away from me. I hope that the tf.tv community will understand and support me in getting unbanned. Thanks.

The tournament turned out well. 1st place winner was SLAM THE HAM, with Aurora and Han. 2nd place winner was Str7 balls, with Exile and Anarchy. And the 3rd place winner was Derpis Prime and the Lazbian, with JDawg and Laz. The first match will be around 10est. I would like to have the teams playing in there by 9:55est. There will be a short amount of time you can warm up. Here is the server info, 74.91.127.124:27015. We will be using tf2mix mumble. If you do not have that saved into your servers, here is mumble info: mumble.atf2.org; 64738. I would be using my mumble, but it is only 15 slots and isn't really set up too well. I see that the mix mumble has 200 spots, so I hope it won't be a problem if we borrow it for a few hours. I would prefer to have everyone in mumble by 9:45est. The first team playing is Winter Shitstorm and Str7 balls.

If you are wondering how I got who was playing who, I tried to do this as fair as possible. So I put names on an index card, folded them all up the same way, and drew from a bowl. I couldn't really think of any other ways of coming up with who was playing who fairly, but if you do and you do not agree with the brackets. Please speak up. I want this tournament to be as fair as possible and I want every one to have fun. I also bought a server from nfoservers.com today, and will be working on the config a little bit tonight and tomorrow. I am really looking forward to this tournament. Just a reminder, Friday night (this Friday) from 10est-1est PM, and Saturday night, from 10est-12est PM. The first place team will get 1 key each, the second place team will get 2 craftable hats, and the third place team will get a craftable hat (prizes are for each team member. So 1st place will get 2 keys total, but 1 key per player, etc.) If you have any more questions, feel free to ask them here. I am no longer taking anymore teams unless I can get 4 more teams by tomorrow night, which is not likely to happen. I am taking more backup teams though. Thank you for everyone who is signed up, and I hope you guys like and enjoy this tournament.

EDIT: I changed the teams by letting the site randomize them for me. This way, it will be more fair. Thanks a lot to Aurora for helping me with the set up of the brackets, it helped a lot.

EDIT#2: I just bought the server and will be coming out with server info really soon. I want to also give a thanks to Exile for helping me set up the config for the server.
