#76 Video Gamer height? in Off Topic

5'11" and getting shorter everyday.

#81 TF2GAMES in The Dumpster

Okay, so, I generally don't reply to topics like this. In fact, I hardly reply to topics at all and just watch the forums, but here goes:

This is extremely fishy, as most others here have said. First off. 5000 servers have got to to cost an ASTRONOMICAL amount to keep up and running properly on a daily basis, and unless you're some sort of football-playing-king-in-space, I fail to see how you can have that much money just lying around to spend on a video game without expecting anything in return. Not to mention the 26(?) mumble servers you have around the world, which is a bit of overkill if you ask me, considering how you can have a MASSIVE amount of people shoved into one single root mumble, with many others in small channels. (TF2Centers mumble system.) Furthermore, you have NOT provided anything in regards to who YOU are or who your team is, despite this being the most requested thing of you is to just give us some form of identification.

I've been watching this thread since it started because it seemed like you really wanted to help us out and do this for us, since then, I've been severely dissappointed, because you've replied to nothing except for the posts saying that you're being sketchy, and when you do reply, it's either evasive or downright hostile. Like when Lange asked a simple question of asking you for a portfolio to show us your past projects, you dodged the question. And when he replied, you didn't.

I also decided to do some kind of research and look through your friends list, I figured since you have so many people on your team and if you guys are so proud of this project, they'd atleast follow your example and put the TF2G tag in their name, similar to how the ESEA and CEVO admins do. However, you're the only person who has such a tag, and nobody in your friends list as one either. While this likely may not be anything significant, it could also mean one of two things. 1) That you HAVE no team. Or 2) that you're team really doesn't give two shits about this project.

Just in case TL;DR. You're being evasive vague and you aren't answering our questions. Your team seems to be missing. You claim to have way more servers than you need, but haven't specified how they'd be fixed if an issue arises. Generally untrustworthy.

#8 PUGs in TF2 General Discussion

I don't know if you're paid up or anything but I've noticed the ESEA PUGs have suddenly picked back up in frequency, you could go try those out if you're into ESEA and that kind of thing.

#151 this is why we have LAN finals in TF2 General Discussion

These two can make good shots to, does this mean that Bloodsire, whose been playing this for years ALSO hacks? Didn't think so. And I'll go ahead and copy this from the video as well:

"The game is lag compensated, but the demos aren't or whatever that technical Mumbo jumbo bs is. That's why the shots look "off."

#7 Comp tf2 hall of fame? in TF2 General Discussion

Yeah. Hi. I'm the guy who made the original hall of fame thread which got completely out of hand because it was a good idea, but extremely poor execution. (And because I'm not smart.)

I'm going to go ahead now and tell you not to worry about this. It'll be taken care of when the time is right, etc, etc.

#1 LFT Medic in Recruitment (looking for team)

Posting this on behalf of a friend.

Hi. I'm looking for an Iron team as a Medic. First off, a little about me.

Previous experience: Iron Highlander. (But I'm looking for a 6s team.)

Availability: From 4:30PM til 11:00PM on weekdays (Central Standard Time) or most of Saturday or Sunday (time varies due to irregular sleep schedules).

I'm willing to improve and listen to advice I'm given.

#28 New Call of Duty, is anyone following updates? in Other Games

The last CoD I played was borrowed from my friend for a week. It was Black Ops 2. This one better be good, because that was just disappointing.

#25 Looking for longer games in Other Games

I've seen it here twice, but I'll reiterate: Earthbound. It's a solid, fun, and funny game to play with a few jokes in their that some kids who play wouldn't get. (magic butterfly anybody?) it's also a classic.

It's funny because I read the OP, and I was actually in the middle of playing Earthbound; So I just decided "Fuck it. let's suggest this game."

botmodecustom build one less expensive + more effective
http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc is really helpful

I'll give that a look and I'll likely spend some time browsing the site here to see if I can't find anything similar to this. Thanks.

#1 Good first real gaming computer? in Hardware

So, I recently got a job at a grocery store. Being my first job and at $8 an hour, I'm not about to complain. However, I've always played tf2 on Windows XP and Vista computers, and it was also used by my father. Now that I have the ability, I was wondering if anybody could suggest a reliable computer that's better than the shitty Laptop I have now.

#659 Post your setup in Off Topic

Everybody has all these badass computer set-ups and it makes me feel bad. I mean, look at this: But it gets the job done, so I can't really complain.

Since I recently got a job, hopefully I can end up at least buying something SLIGHTLY better, since a shitty laptop like mine needs Highframes to run at over 100 fps (when I'm around ~40 fps without it.)
