also not the case checked for that, current thing i need to toy around with is steam microphone settings, cause my steam voice chat also wasnt working (no microphone detected) will upd8 here if that fixes it

cant use voice chat

i have voice_enable 1 on and v bound to +voicerecord but whenever i try and use voice chat im not getting the pop up in the bottom left that im transmitting audio. its also definitely not the case that its transmitting audio and that the hud element is missing (tested with friends). i have voice chat enabled in my mastercomfig modules too. all started after i updated my mastercomfig a week ago or so.
edit: also seems i cant hear anything in voice chat despite voice_enable 1 being on.

funhaver1998People arent just playing games because the gameplay is good
massively this. a big section of gamers only play games because other people play games and its just what people our age do not because they actually enjoy them. thats why they hop from current game to current game. anyone here know someone still playing the finals? palworld? battlebit?
alien concept to most of us on this forum because we play 1 game from 2007 for multiple thousands of hours and over the span of a decade+ (because we actually enjoy it to the point of addiction)

chess computer overlay live updating on casted games would be fire. tracking how many shots people have loaded etc and watching the number change every few hundred ms would be crazy. some cs casts used to do odds on who wins a developed round (1v4s etc), in tf2 people are constantly dying, spawning, building and using uber as well as shooting their guns, so the numbers would be more volatile
