La_maisonIs there a way for the news widget to open when you launch the game, rather than having to click on some kind of button?
slateMaybe I just don't get it, but what is the benefit to just opening the webchat through the steam overlay webbrowser?
When I read the title I was hoping for something like this tbh: http://home.scarlet.be/~rt022830/steamirc.htm
You can join a pickup games while playing tf2. It´s convenient for single-monitor setups, I guess. But you could also have like a scrapbank website open similarly to the crafting menu, which is something I think would be another useful application for some people, you could put a link to the release page of a hud to check for updates, etc
My testing revealed that the news widget only auto-opens when the top timestamp is old; and this causes the game to poll for new data, auto-open the widget, and re-write the timestamp. Since it re-writes this timestamp, it will not auto-open for subsequent game launches. I have not figured out an easy way around this.
newbystoichiometry: it does not mean what you think it means.
Lol whoops. Got chem on the brains.
DaMeiNLKincheloeI would like a program to calculate fuel mileage for sim racing please.
Inputs:
Fuel Capacity
Fuel Usage per lap
Average lap time (in seconds)
Race Distance (# of laps or time in minutes)
Outputs:
# of laps in full fuel run
Time required to complete full fuel run
# of pitstops required
I use Imperial units (US gallons).
Math = not my strong suit.
If you give me the equations I can make the program grunt them out.
# of laps in full fuel run = Fuel Capacity (input) / Fuel Usage per lap (input)
Time to complete full fuel run = # of laps in full fuel run (see above) * Average lap time (input)
# of pitstops required = Race Distance (total # of laps) (input) / # of laps in full fuel run (see above)
It's just simple unit cancellation.
That is an insanely elaborate scam. Is this like organized crime or kids who got tired of runescape scamming?
GetawhaleIt puzzles me when people ask about a "response". We don't raise the money to get a big extravagant public response. They got the money - that's all I need to know.
Who said anything about an extravagant public response? I just want to know where my money is going, not a profuse thank you. That doesn't seem unreasonable.
LinKr_I just noticed this game has potential for a custom hud
Paging rays
I think you should be able to disassemble your mouse by prying off the teflon feet and unscrewing the screws under them. This process will probably destroy the feet so you'll have to buy replacements, but they are cheap.
Sitting down with your parents and discussing this rationally would be a good first step instead of posting angsty rants on an internet forum.
Cool person, good medic, throws pugs minimally. Keep her off the same team as Dr. Squeaks and you'll be fine.
seanbudi had to teach my roommate about why seeding doesnt matter.
Good luck getting an account on a private tracker with that attitude, lol.
Don't link to pirated software on the forums, it could get enigma in trouble just by mere association.
This is almost certainly an issue with your GPU scaling setting

Make sure this is set to "scale image to full panel size" (I think).
I went to the doctor to test for RSI/carpal tunnel when I was having similar problems. The tests they had me do included:
-Ability to freely rotate wrist/thumb in all dimensions without pain
-Be able to grip a sheet of paper between your thumb & index finger and not be able to pull it out
-Check for numbness
This is by no means a comprehensive list (AND I'M NOT A DOCTOR), but if you're doing good in these areas, you probably are just gaming too much and need to take more frequent breaks.
