i mean fight for 2nd might be close this year?
which is... better?
i cant wait for motogp to start again
ban winger
doesnt solve all of the problems at all ,but it has the advantage of not needing to mod the game for it to actually happen.
meds will still run around with scouts especially over flat terrain but suddenly scouts are punished fairly hard if they drop off their most dominant position
First race in about 8 years now where ive been glued to the screen for the entire race
this is what f1 should really be about, the best drivers in the fastest cars all being pushed to (and beyond for some) their absolute limit
gutted for hulk though :(
ah, apologies. the site was down when i wanted to check
the map being updated was very clear but these seem like exactly the issues you run into when you update a map a week before its played and noones had time to playtest it properly, never mind potential problems with the new layout
were updating maps 1 week before we play them and then now making rule changes on forums on the wrong website 2 hours before officials
what is going on
2 5 sec penalties for danny ric might count as a break, but also makes me wonder what the point of watching f1 is anymore
dont know if people here watch any other motorsports, but watching the indy 500 tonight really made me realise how much f1 is missing, good action the whole way through, drama and strategy that are actually meaningful the whole way through, and a close fought last lap battle for the win. monaco is always rough but man f1 is really not exciting at the moment
can etf2l at the very least give some kind of communication or insight as to why these changes were made?
you could make arguments for 9 maps vs 7 maps, and what maps you play twice over the season, but everything in this thread is wasted breath if we dont know what the plan the admins have when these decisions are made.
agree with anathon, ETF2L and ozfortress have both had a full decade to decide on their own rulesets maplists and whitelist, and its happened very organically over that time
seems silly to waste 10 years of progress in those regions because some people are still hung up on tf2 esports ideas
the tf2 devs acknowledged something was wrong with pyro and did something about it before league admins
this is a genuinely depressing april fools

ticks are in the filenames, sorry for large demos they were on 133 tick servers
i wouldnt say sk are in a slump tbh
having to play the major with felps and then playing 2 gruelling af best of 3s vs fnatic and c9 was never gonna leave them any chance at all
they werent exactly taking summit seriously either..
the whole 'bug-using' thing is still pretty vague, for example would edgebugs count among this?
also as for all the individual map spots is there any reason we wouldnt use a 'new' version of the map where all the really dumb stuff is fixed? theres at least 5 or 6 pretty dumb ledges on gully alone i can think of, so to me it seems better to map all of these out fo the map rather than arbitrarily deciding which spots are legal and which ones arent
why are they being banned now?
as in, wallbugs have existed in tf2 for as long as tf2 has existed. whats changed to make etf2l ban them after 10 years of them being legal
