What keeps you motivated to play tf2?

It's really fun to try to prove that you're the best. The only problem is no matter how well you do nowadays people will still think you're awful because you're "being carried" or because "invite sucks now". I'm only playing now cause it kills time that I'm not playing overwatch and I really wanna go to Europe.
