BeasrDabestThe worst problem is crash on startup.
You realize this HUD is currently outdated right? Biskuit linked an update for it on literally the same page. Open your eyes.
What is even outdated?
You could follow kermits tutorial and have it use the default menus for now if you're really that desperate.
shinsowhat should i edit to change the killstreak ?
HudItemEffectMeter_KillStreak.res in resource/ui
Quake 1, Ultimate doom, painkiller maybe although I'm not sure how good it'd run
You may also wanna checkout this guys videos

His humor and what-not may be a bit cringey for some, but his videos are generally very informative and easy to follow.
its not even shitposts at this point
diarrhea posts
Please someone find out which element is causing it
Some of these are good ideas, but others are just lowering the skill ceiling of the game IMO
If they were MM only that'd work I suppose, but if the slugs of pub servers want to be good at the game, they should learn to be good at the game - not rely on some hud element or something.
Think about Quake Live where they implemented the hud timers for the pickups, pissed a lot of people off because that was always a fundamental part in why the game was so hard to learn and what not. These ideas aren't nearly as close as this, but lowering the skill ceiling at all is never really a good approach imo.
That episode was one of the best things I've probably ever watched
You guys who keep posting are well aware you can update the HUDs yourself right? Kermit made a great tutorial recently
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dGTcZ1apeI
Takes the load off of Hypnotize and probably gets it done faster seeing as it's something you're doing purely for yourself.
I long for the day a COMMUNITY hud update thread or something can be made, where everyone can just post any HUDs they've updated - Would be a neat concept to replace this thread maybe.
Yeah though, you can probably update the HUD faster yourself.

Managed to update my hud to add the healthbar by adding spectator_extra to spectator.res, spectatortournament.res and hudlayout.res but I can't work out how to get the player name as well like it is in the default hud
The font that controls the names is usually "SpectatorVerySmall", I can't find out what file(s) it's used in though. Which HUD is it?
For the record, DM servers shouldn't always be about 'out-aiming everyone', or "Oh he only won because he aimed better than me"
No, look at it as a game of advantages - Health, ammo, height, position, is your enemy distracted, etc.
Try and develop good habits, such as crosshair placement when going around corners and keeping all your enemies on screen whenever possible.
Watch Mr Slin's DM server video, he goes into these points in a lot greater detail than I ever could.

I highly recommend his scout analysis videos as well.
As for actually developing your aim alone - that takes time, it won't happen overnight. Try develop a schedule, dm for 30mins to an hour, mge 30mins to an hour everyday (prefer consistency over time spent) 10mins one day will pay off just the same as long as you keep at it and keep focused. Aiming should start to feel more natural after a while to the point where you don't even have to think about it.
