#17 Who was it who said med can swap to pyro on last? in TF2 General Discussion

#16, it was indeed a desperation play. I don't normally switch away from med on last.

Because I just did that in a scrim. 100% uber advantage for enemy, pushing into our last on badlands. I respawn and swap to pyro, airblast the uber coming in thru lower left, reflect kill a soldier, and generally save the day through badassery. And yeah it was a UGC 6v6 scrim but screw you, it was awesome.

#70 wrangler in highlander in TF2 General Discussion
NakedapeYour team did really well having 9 up and in position at the choke. That said, I figured while I was watching I'd compare your demo to engie. (because the camera work was kinda bad)piggy had 10 kills, 3 assist, 3 sentry, 1 disp, and 1 tellie destroyedredman had 3 wrangler kills, 4 assist, 4 kills unwrangled and 1 sentry destroyedI just tracked until the triple backstab. Sal was tabbing so these numbers while close could be off.I applaud you (in no way being sarcastic) for using the wrangler as it should be used, and basing a strat on it. I don't see how ubering a scout in was targeted at taking down the wrangler.

Tangent, I know, but what would you have preferred to see from the camera? There's only so much I can do while cold-casting highlander, but if there's room to improve I'd like to hear it.

#5 dreamhack winter 2012? in TF2 General Discussion

There's work going into organizing this and understanding what the challenges are. But I certainly can't make any promises right now... I don't think there's likely to be a big tournament.

Make sure to say "serious offers only / no shitbirds" in your looking post.

I keep that in mind every time I cast a game with a girl in it.

I predict not getting nearly as inebriated as everyone else due to wanting the documentary to go well.

#307 I am Platinum, AMA in TF2 General Discussion

Are you ready to trash the Euros this weekend and win fame and glory for the USA in a way that hasn't happened since at least a week ago?

Corollary: Will you be wrapped in an American flag for every match?

Oh, then never mind.

Plat + Sal + Clckwork are the exceptions, it appears. The big wave of fake AMAs is not only annoying / detracting, but probably also bad for the players involved.

#88 Ask Sal a question in Q/A Help

It was a Pike Place fish. They're all overpriced. I don't remember what they cost as I wasn't the one buying things on my family vacation.

It didn't cost anything to get slapped.

#86 Ask Sal a question in Q/A Help

#84 Do I still do this to any significant degree, or are you more concerned about other casters? I remember that I used to do it a lot, and as my understanding of the game improved, I found I could talk more about the tactics and strats employed rather than who killed who. Asking one or two levels of "why" helps - why is this kill important, why did he choose to bomb in or retreat in the first place?

#85 Shit no man, that was an expensive fish.

#83 Ask Sal a question in Q/A Help

#81 Hadn't considered giving away my own signed stuff, especially not after wearing it... but maybe not a terrible idea?

#82 Not during. Afterwards when I still had a faceful of fish-flavored ice water on my face, that's when I could taste it.
