numlockedI really like it. I think the only change that is needed for it is that you need to build with it instead of it having the same build rate % regardless of someone self-damaging or not. maybe so that you can't uber + cap the point? idk, not played against/with it that much yet.

it's really strong for teams that are already very pocket+medic central (mike/knox, zebbo/mirelin, platinum/smaka). really like it so far.

Not 100% on this, but when quickfix first came out and we ran it in some pugs, it definitely built faster when someone was damaged. I don't think the build rate is identical at all times, but does more when someone is hurt.

Seeing as how Mangachu decided to provide the download link for the early version of the map without asking me, might as well put a thread together.

Koth_coalplant is a reworked version of cp_ashville, essentially returning it to its koth roots and trying to create something with roughly the same gameplay as koth_ashville, with the visuals of cp_ashville. I've made many changes to cp_ash to accomplish this, including reducing the size of the "courtyard" (where the second point used to be, and where players spawn now), adding an upper route on the left into warehouse (instead of the tunnel route from cp_ash), changing the balcony push on right to a lower-to-higher route, and removing the path from middle point to the balcony.

Obviously its a work in progress, and I still have a lot of work to do (part of the reason I didn't publicly release it on my own), but it is both visually pleasing, and fairly similar to koth_ashville that people are familiar with.

Any feedback is appreciated.

liasmakes default almost useless, competitive play has needed a small metagame change for awhile but this is too big :(

Please try pushing through a stickied choke with quick fix, or attacking a sentry, or quick fixing against a kritz, or a sniper, or a spy... or or or or. There are so many situations where the default is superior, quick fix really only adds another option to consider.

cage-Why doesn't anyone use the whip on rollouts? What if the pocket whips the med the whole time and everyone gets there earlier.

Its used in highlander pretty much exclusively, unless your playing like attack/defend or something without exhaustive rollouts. Even then, most soldiers would probably default to it.
