Sometimes it tastes good but sometimes it tastes bad

My team and I would be willing to teach you! :)
This thread makes me happy and hopeful for the future of TF2.

Oh my bad
I can see the fun as a casual game at the moment but since it's still beta and will most likely be improved upon in the future you won't really know where it will go.
A few things that irk me are the lack of a killfeed, poor hitmarkers, and the fact that the snipers are easy to play and can do a lot for the team.
Maybe these will be implemented later on, but it's still a great game overall.
GetawhaleSegnoI hope that Valve reaches out to more players to contact for stuff like this soon, because one guy isn't going to be enough in the long run.
We have already begun to see that, in the form of a Valve employee adding several streamers/players on Steam, talking directly to us through our streams, etc. Hopefully we continue to see that, and the relationship continues to be warm. I'm sure we will.
Then hopefully things will turn for the better :)

Nice, and finished it with a pan. Appreciating the smooths too!
CollaideI just made this script, so I just thought I'd share it in case anyone's interested.
If you scroll up one "tick" you will get a faster zoom sensitivity , and if you scroll down one "tick" you'll get slower zoom sensitivity.

You will probably need a decent scrollwheel to use it effectively.alias up "zoom_sensitivity_ratio 2; bind MWHEELDOWN middle" alias down "zoom_sensitivity_ratio 0.5; bind MWHEELUP middle" alias middle "zoom_sensitivity_ratio 1; bind MWHEELUP up; bind MWHEELDOWN down" bind "MWHEELUP" up bind "MWHEELDOWN" down zoom_sensitivity_ratio 1
You can do it in waay more steps but I just wanted 3 different settings, rather than the 2 you are restricted to if you do standard binds. I use zoom_sensitivity_ratio 0.5 in really far distances and 1 in medium. With this script I'm gonna start using 2 in close quarters.
These numbers are interesting at the least. A script like this will make it really hard to get comfortable with settings, or build up any kind of consistency. I really advise you to stick with a zoom sensitivity that you find comfortable, then find a sensitivity that you find comfortable and practice a lot instead of using scripts that will more likely hinder you than help you.
