WithADanceNumberI think ill try this hud out when I get home from work.
Does it support 4:3?
As far as I know. Haven't gotten much feedback on that res. I have heard the disguise panel clips badly with the 3d model, but I'm scheduled to change the disguise panel anyway.
Tell me how it goes for you.
A little more news:
I've been working closely with four for several hours the past few days, and I've finished making a new settings menu in 4Plug for 7HUD. Aaaaaand... drum roll please
I will be adding a lowered version of the HUD in the next update! :D
Icing on the cake: you will be able to switch from the normal version to the lowered version simply by selecting either in 4Plug's settings menu. You can even refresh it while you're in game by selecting, for instance, the lowered version in the settings menu, alt-tabbing back in to TF2 and putting hud_reloadscheme in the console. It's as simple as that!
The chat position and binding of favorite servers to the menu buttons will also be included in the initial 4Plug w/ 7HUD release!
GET HYPEEEEEE
Hey guys,
So tonight a guy named four added me and told me about a really cool app he made called 4Plug and it's really really cool. It organizes all of your TF2 plugins; your huds (installed and not installed), .vpk files, hitsounds and more. With his help, I began integrating my HUD into 4Plug. I have a Mac, so I had to run the app off a Mac .net Framework equivalent called "mono", but it worked out OK.
Long story short, I've mostly integrated the mac branch (as you'll see on GitHub), but I can't edit the Windows version right now because the GitHub app simply refuses to launch on my Windows partition. I've been in contact with a GitHub representative, so we should have this solved soon, but until then I won't be able to update the Windows side of the HUD.
While you Windows users wait, grab 4Plug and get familiar with it so you're all set for when I finish updating.
If you are an intrepid adventurer, feel free to download the mac branch on GitHub and just copy the following files to your 7hud folder and it should be integrated into 4Plug after that: settings.data, data.txt, the readme (it's been updated with 4Plug instructions), 7hud.png, and thumbnail40.png. Then delete recommended options.txt as it's no longer needed.
Whew, a bit more long winded than I hoped, but hopefully you guys are nice people and read it. If you didn't, that's not a good thing. That's bad. It's very bad.

RayGun9Thanks for making this, I am really enjoying this! The only thing I wish to be different are the red and blu dots being the team logos instead, but I imagine it must be a little difficult or else someone would have done that already.
Red and blu dots? Where exactly are they?
StaticVoiddat title screen tho...
That Barnblitz menu was the first custom thing I ever made for TF2, finally put it to good use after I figured out how to make menus :D
Craftythanks for the quick response!
and yes, i'm on Windows.
I thought that I fixed it when I was on my windows partition, guess not. Maybe it's just your resolution, I have 16:9, 1920 x 1080, but you're 16:9 as well...
Anyways I'll see what I can do :)
KAMOSevinI'm surprised no ones said it yet. Even if you put a script in one class .cfg, it will "leak" to the rest if you don't write up counterbinds for each of the other class .cfg's.See post #2...
So for that crouch jump script you would have to rebind jump and duck keys just to ensure nothing leaks:
bind "space" "+jump" bind "CTRL" "+duck"
Put that in every other class's .cfg's and you should be set.
I swear I'm literate.
JarateKingSevinWhat the fuck is this. It's rayshud with a really shitty menu and overlay on sniper.Indeed. I'm more after functionality than appearance for the menu, and the overlay's more "if you want it go for it".
Ok, I feel like an asshole for saying that I'm sorry.
But really, you just copied everything besides a minor overlay edit for sniper and some additions to the menu. Don't just make 2 changes to a HUD and then release it as something original.

cool hacks too

Craftyhello Sevin!
(stuff)
Hi Crafty!
You're not being nitpicky, I appreciate the comments, always helps! The team select menu I intend to change as I do not like it at all, so hopefully that will be removed when I do that. The circle that makes up the red and blu selections is a font, so that could be showing through when you hover over it I think.
I'm on that scoreboard glitch, I coulda sworn I fixed it when I updated for Two Cities, but I suppose I haven't... I'll re-edit soon.
You're running Windows right?
