not true for everyone. when i watched scouts who aimed relatively smoothly, like clock or quad, for example, and tried to apply it to my play, it definitely helped me. i wouldn't put it as "copying" though, as it's more learning to aim in different ways and then seeing what you like or what works.

after you get picks as sniper and are able to push out (or their team just fed) and you're playing sniper on mid/2nd during transition fights, there are plenty of times where a soldier bombs my medic (or just in general) and it's incredibly more reliable to noscope them midair then smg them.

it's pretty much just a fact that the best and most consistent aimers in fps games don't flick like mongos. most track while having small flicks, like wonderland stated, but there are so many subtly different ways to effectively aim smoothly or track aim that there really isn't a "best" way.

however, if you play a video game a lot, it doesn't matter what you do for the most part. what matters the most, at that point, are the other factors of aiming, such as good crosshair placement. you can hit every single shot if you flick like crazy just because you practice a lot. look at a lot of pro ow players for example. there are a ton of pros who have had legitimately awful aim, but now hit their shots flicking a ton because they play the game a ton. in my opinion though, it's just harder to hit huge flicks consistently, or really hit a maximum level of insanely consistent aim when you mongo flick.

it would still be just as enjoyable to use if they slightly decreased its building rate and made it do a bit less healing from close range.

ya i took a approximately 2 seconds to think of that. not really that effective lol

the other ideas i/others suggested, like doing even less healing the closer you are to your teammate are much better
