The version I posted was lovingly ripped taken from GoatHud's main menu file, but provided you change fonts/colours/positions, you can incorporate that "Welcome Back" line from any hud that has it

It's possible to do that, yeah, even though it's not much like it used to be
Add this to your mainmenuoverride.res file, anywhere you want
Replace the font/fgcolor with whatever your hud supports, change around the X/Ypos, and change the labelText area in quotes to whatever you want
