saamdid you start revved up?
Yes. Both reved up, 3-2-1 countdown then we fired. I know the tomislav has a faster spin-up didn't want that to become a factor. Was testing the difference between the 20% accuracy buff for the tomislav vs the stock miniguns faster firing speed. I thought they might cancel each other out, but that was not my experience in our little tests.
I did a not very scientific test with a friend in an MGE server a few weeks ago when the mini gun changes came out.
We tested the stock mini gun vs the tomislav at various distances. We were in mumble and counted down 3-2-1, then started firing at each other standing completely still (so there was no difference in our tracking abilities).
At long and medium range, the tomislav won every shootout. At close range the mini gun won. We did about 3-4 tests at every distance. It's sad but I see almost no reason to use the stock minigun anymore. Tomislav or maybe natasha.
I would like to see maybe someone do this kind of test a bit more scientifically, where both players are firing at the exact same time, no fraction of a second delay.
Some people have the mentality that "its just a lobby" so they are free to throw the game. I wouldn't oppose some kind of rules for silly excessive off classing, but I think it would be difficult to enforce.
Was just browsing slickdeals and saw that Amazon has the Samsung EVO 250GB SSD on sale for only $81 Shipped! This beats the previous lowest price that Amazon had it on sale for by $10!
Link to the product on Amazon.
This is a highly rated SSD and is a steal @ $81!
It would nice to see spire fixed one of these days. There is still some invisible clipping and spots where if you fire a rocket it will block the rocket, even though there is nothing visually blocking it.
Removing waste and gravel pit and adding sunshine and metal works mid or something would be nice.
vibhavphis quitting isn't going to reduce the amount of cheating in the game anyways, until the actual LMAOBOX authors quit (which won't happen for sure)
I disagree. While there will always be cheaters, he was the largest promoter of TF2 cheats ever. His video's combined received over a million views. A lot of people were fans of him and bought hacks just because of him. There will still be hackers, but there will be less new ones coming on board now that the main TF2 hack promoter is done.
Permzillaour tf2pug.me game was ddosed just now, ridiculous smh
No offence but people throw around the term ddos too often. With pugme, more than likely it was either just an ISP networking issue, or the servers were temporarily overloaded. Almost all game servers are hosted in a shared environment, so if one user suddenly has a bad script, or is running something very resource intensive it can bring the entire server down to a halt. The effect can feel similar to a DDOS attack, but a DDOS attack is intentional, where an overloaded server or ISP issues are just a random occurrence.
Game servers are often times "oversold." E.g. 20x 24 slot TF2 servers are hosted on one physical server. 99% of the time everything is fine because only 3-4 servers are being used at once. But on a busy night when 15 servers are all being used there could be some serious resource problems.
BLoodSireYou would think felony charges and jail time would be enough not to DDoS. Why risk ruining your future?
Does any government agency have the time/resources to go after kids that DDOS with a few hundred computer botnet? I doubt it. They go after the big guys that bring down large government and corporate websites.
Hellbentthen why is there a thread about it when there is literally nothing anyone can do about it
If you pay more and use a large reputable data center, they can definitely disable the small to medium DDOS attacks. DDOS protection which can handle 1 to 10Gb/s is quite available.
x350 emails were found to be... ...@parl.gc.ca (parliament of Canada official emails from Staff and member of parliament)
TIME TO DIG MY COLLEGUES BAD HABITS
awww shit.
It's really hard to believe people are dumb enough to use work emails to sign up for something like this...
I hate it so much. It has no place in 6's. Highlander... maybe.
I've nicknamed it the cancer canon. Some people are better at timing the double donks than others, but sometimes it just comes down to pure luck. The 141 damage + stunning a player is ridiculous. I don't feel like a weapon that takes less skill to do damage, should be rewarded with some-what random high damage output. I've also seen it just completely destroy an uber push due to the pocket getting double donked twice in a row and not being able to move.
There are other far less silly weapons that are banned in ESEA. Like the quicky bomb launcher. I'd much rather see that thing unbanned, and the cancer canon banned.
Hmm... This time he seems legitimate. However, previously I believe he made a video saying he was moving away from hacking, then IIRC he released a couple hacking videos a few weeks alter. I really think it would be hard for someone that is so used to just shitting on everyone with cheats, to start playing legit. He's probably not that great of a player. Can he tolerate just being an average player?
I guess him removing all of his hacking videos is a big step forward, and is proof that he is wanting to change. We'll see what happens with him in the coming months.
phobiaHe's not the maker of lmaobox, he just uploaded videos of him using them. I think it would be best if he just deleted all his old cheating videos
IIRC that is what he told everyone, that he wasn't a maker. However I thought in one of his videos he did admint to being one of the devs. It would make sense that he didn't want to admin to being a programmer of these hacks, because otherwise everyone would be on his ass for tech support questions and complaints.
FiZZiLApparently 90-95% of the sites users were men, so most of the people who signed up didn't even have an affair.
Maybe these men had an affair with another guy, you never know!
Well it happened. Ashley Madison didn't comply with the hackers request to take down their site, so they released about 10GB of data, including names of those that signed up for the site.

Geel9Look on the bright side: with Froyo out, someone else has a chance to win.
LOL... With Fryo averaging 150 ping, I would have honestly been surprised to see them place. Blaze and B4nny are west coast, so 180 ping solder would have been almost useless against the 20 ping euro players.
ViperAlkalineIt took two months just for b4nny to accept my friend request on Steam, for gods sake.He probably gets 20+ friend requests a day.
It's hard being Mr TF2
