#7 Top 10 TF2 plays - November 2019 in Videos

It's a single airshot. If I had put that at number one, I was imagining seeing eXactly Wandum's post again in response.

If you could include what you think the ranking should have been that would be a lot better feedback.

What I put in front of it was a play saving last push in a playoffs match, four simultaneous huge shots by SolarLight following a pretty ridiculous trimp, and RoL absolutely destroying a fight on mid with a quick 5k on Sniper against talented players.

Alfie's single airshot was one of the fattest I've seen, but it's one click in a pug (that did have good players) compared to impressive plays that had major impacts on their games.

Y'all got me a lil confused tbh.

#19 Top 10 TF2 plays - October 2019 in Videos
counou...

Again, thanks for feedback.

It's been a truth for us that when production lags, the quality of submissions for the following months suffers. Hopefully this discussion helps the quality of our January submissions. While November and December should be entertaining months, we're not getting as much of the league/top level content as we'd like. The quality of the series is definitely dependent upon the clips so we're appreciative of any help we can get.

I understand how someone could end up with bitterness in their mouth over a ranking, but again it's definitely a subjective process and we'll never be able to match everyone's opinion of how we should be ranking things. If you wanted a higher ranking please just keep grinding and send us your neXt hot play.

Luke and I will keep tryna get better at doing this thing we do. All your support is appreciated.

#7 DH-Anaheim Volunteers in LAN Discussion

Yyyaaaoooo!

I'm still chippin away with some peeps about getting TF2 at Anaheim all squared away. Hopefully more news within a week or two and I'll drop an update when I got it. If you're gonna be there drop a c u @ in the thread and we'll figure out some games. Holler at yao boy if you see me, I'll be packing hot sauce samples with me.

I also wanted to put out there that DreamHack is still needing volunteers for the event. You gotta put some work in, but you get a free ticket and byoc seat and get to meet some cool people. https://dreamhack.com/crew

BumFreezei also think its a huge stretch to count an entire life of 1ks with loads of time between them as part of the same "play" which seems to have got more common recently

Another fair point, but that's also the inevitable nature of a lot of sniper clips... or that Engie one. Sometimes we filter out a beginning frag or cut out early but long plays make for long clips. I def thought the Engie play was ranked fine as it was an impressive Sentry spree, but also sorta wish we had enough better clips to rank it out.

#5 Top 10 TF2 plays - October 2019 in Videos

Lucky Luke ranked October and has been handling the rankings himself for 95% of the series. It's a subjective process based off of unspoken guidelines we've worked out over the years. We certainly might be a little inherently biased towards flashier plays and the weighting we have given plays from events/leagues has varied.

The shorthand of the title is "Top 10 TF2 plays of the month" but really its the "Top 10 most entertaining TF2 plays that were submitted to us of the month". That Kritz was insane, but we found the demoknight more entertaining and a better way to end the episode. Luke ranked them, but I didn't disagree with his rankings.

Either way you see this ranking, we've heard the feedback. Thank you for sharing your viewpoint. I sorted and ranked the November and December clips, Luke will maybe adjust once he's done recording and I'll look at the feedback when those are published.

#24 Tagg: Why I "Quit" TF2 in Videos

Great video, Tagg's honesty about his struggles are really important to listen to for people grinding in the TF2 community. Whether it's trying to get to Invite or being involved on the production side we can't forget about being nice to each other and taking care of ourselves.
