I wasn't joking about how fast these tickets sell out. They went on sale Monday, only 67 left outta 500.

Scouts and Demos were the boss classes on 360, some people could make sniper work but it was tough. Medic is Medic, but only stock kinda sucks... I could do straight down rocket jumps decently, you could maybe get away with wall jumps as well, but it'd be pretty tough. CTapping is outta the question.

YYyyaaaooooo!!!

http://www.pdxlan.net/ has been organizing LANs since 2002 in the Portland Oregon area and elsewhere. Their events are always a blast and have fantastic support from sponsors with ~$100,000 in prizes given away.

PDXLAN 24 is going to take place from July 11th-July 14th. Doors open Friday at 6pm and the raffle is held on Monday with the event over at 5pm. It is a 500 person BYOC and tickets sell out FAST. There are really only ~100 tickets left, and it just went on sale this last weekend.

I bought my ticket and will be sitting in Seat 2D. Anyone else from the NW wanna attend?

The event location is really close to the Portland airport, at the Holiday Inn nearby. There is a hotel bar, a big shopping "mall" with chain restaurants nearby, and it's a quick hop to get into town.

I doubt they'll have an official TF2 tournament, although they have in the past. I'll play a ton of MGE with anyone who shows up and team up for any other tournaments as my schedule allows (might be working Fri/Sat and not showing up till 11pm). They always have a full TF2 pub server going and their internet connection is blazing, it's not a problem to play on outside servers.

#9 eXtv FITES post-mortem/general cast feedback in TF2 General Discussion

We tried to go to match comms with Street Hoops at one point, but really all we needed was just a little more pre-planning in terms of the mumble server everyone used.

Talking to dummy and having a blast at FITES has now made me want to attend. We still need tickets though...

p.s. we should do this neXt time - https://lanfest.intel.com/forum/show-thread/3164
