What's the logic behind this? Is this something that worked for you?
I'm quite curious, could you go into a little more detail about the issues you were having the settings you were using?
I have absolutely no idea about the technical aspect, but I can confirm this. I was feeling some amount of input lag when streaming, so I lowered my send buffer size (Lange's advice) to the lowest setting (I think 8192 on mine - I think the new lowest setting is 4096 but I haven't updated) and it felt completely normal again.
