If you want two different sources, do what #5 said.
sageIm using a dualcore PC currently because reasons
¿Should I disable any multithreaded/queued stuff or change mat_queue_mode to something specific to get better frames? I know most configs recommend either 2 or -1 (autodetect)
nope, I don't think it's needed anymore
you can see what tf_hud_notification_duration 0 disables here: https://github.com/SteamDatabase/GameTracking-TF2/tree/master/tf/tf2_misc_dir/resource/ui/notifications, except for how to control ghost, how to control kar, how to control ghost no respawn, competitive GC down, notify truce start, notify truce end
autobalance notifications are something else
ymRaisinCongrats again to that one guy who made a bunch of money from the unusual crate bug and bought an index
thx, $30 VR setup
messiahi was about to post like "damn you guys really think it's going to be shit just cuz the last game they produced was a fucking card game?" and then i realized all the main writers of the half series quit so ya it's probably gonna be shit story wise. but the gameplay might be good? idk vr first person games aren't that great to play at least from watching it.
some of them came back, and it's not like they left before the game started development
keep in mind that as your fps goes up, 1 frame increases mean less and less for the actual time latency
for example, a 60 fps cap vs 90 fps cap (30 fps difference) gets you 5ms less latency, while 144 vs 174 gets you 1ms
also, i would recommend having the highest stable cap you can get, so you have fairly consistent time steps of polling the mouse and such, while still having pretty low latency
play around with values of -1, 0 or 1 for r_shader_srgb maybe?
aieraupdated to 8.0.0 and still having issues with demo recording. (looks like this https://youtu.be/PZjgq08DEZ8 )

i tried the new lower net_splitpacket_maxrate, and it didn't fix it, so i matched the rate like you said in this thread
i tried cl_smooth 1, and it didn't fix it
I will keep trying to see what's causing it. Could you try recording and playing back with snapshots=lan
aieraas an aside, do you recommend net_maxcleartime 0.015 or .06? because the value from that thread and your config are different (i have very good internet if it matters)
In mastercomfig 8, it was raised from 0.015 to 0.06 to be less strict/demanding. It could probably be reduced back to 0.015 on good networks.
