Now that I've got a new computer, I'm gonna make an effort to stream TF2 more. I don't really do a lot of HL anymore but I'll definitely stream 6s pugs and so on whenever possible. Country: US

For some reason, when I switched to my new computer, TF2's in-game chat stopped working. I can see the small icons and boxes when people talk, and when I press my PTT and talk, people can hear me, but I can't hear them back. I don't understand what would be causing this. I'm using Realtek HD Audio, and every single other sound works fine (music, in-game sounds, and so on) except the voice.
It's not a huge deal if I can't get it working, but it would be a nice thing to have.
Lil_NathanI want to do the windows via boot camp thing on my macbook, but partitioning sounds scary to me. About how much space would windows/tf2/few documents need? And is there anything else I would need to know about doing it?
For 7, you need ~40GB (I'd make it 50 to be on the safe side) for the operating system itself and then a bit more for your programs and stuff.
There is no real way to truly optimize TF2 for Mac because of the limitations of the OS. If you want the best performance, you should install Windows via Boot Camp (or you could even install Linux if you don't want to pirate it, I heard TF2 runs pretty well on it).
I've used Rosewill products in the past (PSU and a different keyboard) and I've never really been thrilled by them. The quality just isn't there. Just save up and get a reliable keyboard.
Wanted to throw this out there: Twitch has a pretty nice iOS (and maybe Android?) app that pushes you a notification when someone goes live so you don't have to get spammed in your email anymore!

So I just built a new computer and I'm about to boot it up. How do I transfer my Steam games to my old computer (since I don't want to redownload them all, which would take forever on my connection)? Do I just have to copy and paste the Steam folder or do I have to do something else? Also of note: my new computer runs x64 and my old one had x32.

starry-For some reason I have to turn it on and turn it back off to get it to work.
I tried that and it didn't work. :(
