for the fix at last you should just remove one of the sides that blocks off the point, instead of simply closing it off entirely. it could create a problem where it makes it possible to sit in spawn as sniper and snipe from there, idk, but i think the area behind the point is generally too enclosed.

i thought the map pool was pretty decent. metalworks didnt seem terrible enough to warrant removal. I think it would be ideal to add another map to either the A/D or koth game modes so that they become more common. whether there is such a map that would be worthy of such a position i dont know.
pethilarious stuff
i think pet just tried to talk shit to me for some reason??
Chriz_Tah_FahDidn't expect to get my own thread for this but to clarify. I wasn't having fun and I didn't fit well with rando's playstyle so I left.
BASICALLY. I wanted more than 175.
basically you wanted a team that would try to win instead of trolling in every match and constantly coming up with new ways to shoot themselves in the foot.
MR_SLINLoved it blue.
I saw that you want to remove the outline for players that are extremely far away, but what about players that are directly viewable (i.e. not behind a wall). I personally would prefer it if players that are within view of the camera are not outlined.
Agreed.
jaybenaduchithanks guys it means a lot to us!
!!
mdrshdwpuppetinvisible wall on gullywash mid
only in dm dude
well the reason it exists in dm is because dm locks spawn doors open. So, when actually playing gullywash, the invisible wall will actually exist whenever someone exits forward spawn. It just turns out that this is not actually an issue.
performance in ubuntu seems inconsistent at best. every once in a while my fps would drop to ~40 which is terrible. This will probably get better as the drivers become more and more commonly supported, but at this point i dont think linux is a viable option for competitive gaming.
if they want to make it seem like they are bad on purpose that is fine i guess.
dota gets team couriers, we want team jerseys! theres a possibility of that happening right????

this is essentially correct however you have to do it better than that in order to actually beat a fast demo, let alone "banny". I used to do this in IM but it got to the point where demos were too quick and i was just a hair slow because i would screw up one jump or another and eventually be useless.
panzerxiiimilehighmilitiai cant wait til youtube is in the game...
They won't, most likely, unless specific game companies (like Activision) pay them to be. They have nothing to gain from hosting live streaming, and if anything it only taxes their servers more for no more profit.
youtube already has live streaming. There have already been dota games streamed on youtube. it is inevitable that they eventually are open to the greater public, imo.
