#31 TF2 update for 8/16/16 (8/17/16 UTC) in TF2 General Discussion

so after making the sticky jumper unusable on jump maps awhile ago by not allowing 3 stickies to be placed and fired at the same time, they now make the rocket jumper unusable on jump maps by disabling damage indicators and pain sounds..
also the scoreboard mouse input never actually worked correctly for me and it still doesnt

#2 Helping Pubbers to Improve (And Join Competitive) in TF2 General Discussion

i honestly think one high quality graphics config should be made available from some of these config gurus.
I know a bunch of people that tend to stay away from the configs available because they just dont like how the game ends up looking, eventually not realizing the benefits of an increased fov, better rates, raw input on, or vsync off among others.

i added a bunch of crosshairs to a mod i found on gamebanana, you basically just drop the vpk file and the crosshair folder in custom and you can scroll through the crosshairs on the crosshairs options menu

#17 TF2esports Episode #3 This Friday! in TF2 General Discussion

no one expected it to be perfect right out the box, no one expected it to be this clusterfuck either ...
the fact that people are abandoning this game its just because most of the ppl that actually cared for this game and have been here for a long time had big hopes for this update, they saw this update as a turning point on valve´s rep regarding this game, only to end up once more completely disappointed, and this update ended up being the reinforcement of the notion that valve doesn´t care for this game and this game is going nowhere.
Asking ppl to remain positive after all these years of negligence it just isn´t going to work anymore.
I guess they should´ve listened to enigma and the tf.tv production crews, instead of completely ignoring them and rely on the input of a couple of people … We all know how that turned out …
I mean this community created and maintained comp with very little resources, managing to fly teams all the way across the globe to compete between each other, why completely disregard all this work and success ?
Testing different gamemodes ? Different rulesets ? How long has this game been out ? Why not support the existing successful infrastructure , instead of going back in time …
This community has always been too forgiving there´s always a handful of excuses ready to be made regarding something ppl don´t like. “Why are they forcing these graphic settings on MM ? Oh they´re just collecting data for the performance improvement update .” Typical for TF2 …
I don´t want to sacrifice having fun playing the game just to support a system that I don´t like, i´ve already played it enough to come to the conclusion that there are better options . truk truk 2016

#108 TF2 update for 7/28/16 in TF2 General Discussion
Snowshoemousiopegod forbid they take advice by watching the actual competitive scene, that has developped and been around with 0 of their support, and actually give it some supporttbh I'm curious why viewmodels is the biggest issue in comp matchmaking right now and not the fact there are no class limits, weapon bans, map selection, you know things that have been in comp tf2 for years

viewmodels are not an issue anymore i just think the path they re taking to standartization is weird to say the least and that they´re actually focusing on the wrong things, instead of actually focusing on real issues with real priorities
