IcyWindOne problem I usually have is using the avi I get from virtualdub in vegas, as the filesize usually makes vegas lag and on most occasions crash. Encoding each clip to edit with ends up in the quality being kinda bad after the final render, though that might just be my settings. Any ideas?

LiftTFI've known Sun on steam for a while, and he and spend a lot of time in mumble with him. While this may seem suspicious, he has been practicing like crazy as of late, and this is not his first account (he got hacked on his original). I wouldn't necessarily put this down to hacks straight away, I mean he is almost an addict. It's possible that he just got lucky this game, or that he really has improved that much.

downpourokay, its blatant because he ONLY shoots when he gets a headshot, he doesnt shoot unless his triggerbot does it for him. if he landed even 1 bodyshot id think otherwise but he didnt, he only shot when he accidentally went over an enemies head and he always hit the shot he took (even if there were very few of them)
PLUS he has no mouse control whatsoever and his aim made me throw up
At 31ish he bodyshots a demo.
In a hat-based game you would think a problem involving the hats would get fixed right away...

You can always go to the tf2 properties thing and opt in to on older version of the game in the "beta" tab. Not sure if it would be worth it though
Afterglow tried it and said it didn't work. Apparently the only way to fix it would be to modify the game to load a v_rocketlauncher file (viewmodel but not world) instead of a c_rocketlauncher file (combination, both world and viewmodel).

After 2.5 months of getting frags and 10 hours of rendering and recording, it's finally here. This was originally going to be edited much better, but Valve broke demos while I was still working on the movie so I was forced to stick to minimal editing. Luckily, I recorded all of the first-person views as soon as I got the frags because I had a feeling Valve would break the demos. All frags are from competitive and most are before the Love and War update. No parachutes were used in the making of this video.
I highly recommend downloading it. Youtube completely destroys quality.

yukiLooking to make a few min vid of myself b4 i52. Don't want anything special, no smooths or anything, dumb slomo, or whatever; just going to make a "reel" I suppose. Looking for fastest, most efficient way to do this while preserving quality. Aiming to be something like 6 mins, though will probably be a bit less. I'm also wondering what this srcdemo business is all about.
It sounds like what you need is a vdm file. I'm not sure if Kirby explained this in the original post, so I'm just gonna do a quick explanation here. You chose demo files and the start and end ticks to add to the vdm file. The vdm file will automatically open and start the demos from your listed ticks. This is the easiest and most efficient way to record large amounts of frags, and it fits your needs perfectly since you just want a fragshow basically. You can create vdm files within lawena and then just open them like a regular demo. Hit record, and then come back later and it should be done. How long that takes will depend on the amount of frags and the quality you're recording in as well as what you're storing the files on. If you do 720p 120fps to an SSD it should be pretty quick and still look good. If you really wanna be a quality freak you can do 1080 and 240 or even 480, although personally I think 480 is complete overkill. You can just compile the entire thing in virtualdub afterwards and slap it in Sony Vegas afterwards. If you record in over 60 fps I would recommend turning on forced resample, it will make it look smoother and better.

Of all things you could have a script for this is probably one of the dumbest. It probably takes about a day to learn how to press 3 keys at the same time and you will have a ᴛ ᴀ ᴄ ᴛ ɪ ᴄ ᴀ ʟ advantage because you will be able to ctap if you don't use jump scripts.
RIP all my good demos broke from the update.
