Rocko's Modern Life was probably my favorite show from 90's Nick, but this was also pretty great:

please tell me someone else watched this show
kevyeah there's still like 3-4 weeks left till s14.
also 10pm is pretty early bro, might wanna see if you can stay up to like 11
yeah that time is gonna hurt a lot. Scrims are hard to get started in earnest until about 9:30 EST, and matches are often at 9:30 or 10, if not later than that.
It's possible to make it work if you've gotta go at 11, but 10 may be prohibitive to any sort of serious team improvement.
That said, there's no reason to stop trying. There are a lot of people out there who like to play a bit earlier (I know I wish I could) and if you can make a team with some of them, you could schedule scrims ahead of time and request earlier matches.
crespiNot_MatlockI've never played a surf map. It's always impressive to watch this stuff, but I never found them as interesting as jump maps just because it's isn't a practical skill that you can use in normal games like rocket jumping is.
What about conditioning your sensitivity, as in becoming more comfortable and precise with your mouse movement, and your player model movement? What about air strafing?
Of course you can't learn to play tf2 by surfing but I think that saying there is nothing useful to come from it is a bit short sighted.
Edit: I just realized how old this post is.
Surfing is one of the best ways to 'smooth out' your game. I'm not even good at surfing but just getting good enough to beat impossibly easy maps like utopia and derpis can make your aim much smoother. Most people don't realize how comfortable you can be with your mouse. Surfing can definitely teach you that.
Good team, will be dangerous.
High open/Low IM DM, when the gamesense comes along this dude is going to be a beast.
Good soldier, very dedicated
not sure i can handle mustardoverlord in invite pls don't do this
Damn, 3000 more dollars I'll never play for @_@
But this is pretty cool real talk
con: you can get VAC-banned
joddI've seen a few previous posters talk about FOV, so I guess I will just ask here for my peace of mind:
The actual FOV is locked at a maximum of 90, correct? But is tinkering with your viewmodel FOV permissible in leagues, as it is a readily available console command?
yeah, you can set your viewmodel FOV to whatever you want, or even just turn it off.
I think I'll take the day off too. Good idea.
block is the best demo in open, literally.
