edit: but ya if you wanna be safe just do a bo1 double elimination.
You can do a bo3 with that many teams within 12 hours if you use the Euro rule set.

Ya, you're really new so there's a lot you can just do yourself. Everyone below Invite tries to emulate what the people in the highest division do, so any mentor below Invite will give you the same advice. Go ahead and watch some s15 LAN demos of Platinum or s14 demos of b4nny in slow motion and take mental or even typed out notes. Review them and implement them into your play style.
