#21 If you could make a difference in TF2 General Discussion

the main reason i got into 6's was because of shitty unlocks so yeah i support it.

too many unlocks can make the game pretty random and actually hurt strategy more than help depending on the unlocks in question. balancing jarate/milk, quick fix, heavy/engy/gunslinger/GRU/sandvich, and probably pyro a little seem like good ideas. also flame of war 2012

#44 So.... in TF2 General Discussion

bottomline is that it's not fun to fight against an aimbot that is easy as hell to make , takes very little aim to put out good damage (this is important as dm is an important aspect of tf2 and 6v6), and durable enough that it is basically like you are fighting at least 1.5 of a player. it also slows down the game at least a little bit.

it's too powerful even in pubs. pretty sure 90% of the time i am more useful as engy with gunslinger than with any other wrench. isnt that how it goes in highlander aside from attack/defend maps?

#9 Competitive CTF concept - thoughts? in Map Discussion

ctf_process would probably be really cool

jagged map seems pretty cool, mega - the gamemode at least. ran through it and the aesthetics are kinda weird and there's quite a few hallways, but yeah i like the gamemode a lot.

#5 TF2 maps koth maps in Map Discussion

arctic has an extremely fun mid with the tunnel flank and the mid, hanz just needs to fix a few issues with the paths to the point being less than stellar and it's golden. more fun than viaduct imo. i havent found the crates to be THAT much of an issue, it's quite easy to take at least your crate when pushing, and then you get to spam the defenders on the point.

i dont think flake or railbridge have near as much potential.

a/d ctf is just wonky, awkward cp. they didnt replace a/d ctf with payload, they replaced it with a/d cp. i'd rather see something that focuses on both teams doing offense and defense. what about invade ctf? one flag in the middle where you deliver to the endzone i.e. ctf football. Getting the size might be a challenge.

#27 So.... in TF2 General Discussion

isnt gunslinger run pretty much full time on non attack defend maps in HL? I think it needs a nerf before being considered as it's pretty much an upgrade to the other wrenches.
