Gemmellnesslist of techical/gameplay (non-player based) issues i still have with it:
- the spawn system is dumb af, why have a 10 second countdown THEN the doors unlock 5 seconds later. just makes it harder for meds to buff people if they even wanna. random spawns are way more influential in csgo and they're still in the game.
this is supposed to remove the RNG from spawning closer or further from the door at the start of the round, but i find it so awkward
hope they give optimization and game performance some attention

Frets on Fire is pretty fun and can run on a toaster
basically guitar hero with a keyboard, it sounds a little silly but actually works really well and you can import GH or RB songs or custom made ones

eeepicking maps would be alright 2 years from now or w/e but rn we need to make it as fast paced and fun as possible for everyone, and map queues make that hard
it doesnt neccesseraly make mm slower
you could just pick all maps
and if this mm update brings as much players as the mm "closed" beta did when they started giving passes, i assure you search time wouldnt be very long
i hope they let us pick maps like in csgo

edit: in case its not obvious, its floating
yttriumlet's be honest, DOOM was universally hated before it launched because the multiplayer had a lot of signs that the game might not be going the right direction, and yet it turned out amazing. let's wait and see. i just hope they learned from it.
the thing that pisses me off is Bethesda calling a slow-ass multiplayer game with loadouts and limited amount of weapons you can carry "arena shooter"
The singleplayer in doom is great but multiplayer is just... wrong
by their definition of arena shooter its very uncertain what they actually release when quake champions comes out
