Isn't that only a problem if you disguise as the enemy team too early?
If the outline shows while you're cloaked and disguised as the enemy team that would contradict how you are supposed to be invisible regardless of how you're disguised, but having it show while you're uncloaked and disguised as the enemy team is consistent with how you have a target ID visible to the enemy team.
As is probably obvious already, the Fully Charged: EU episode scheduled for today did not happen, due to Kevin's recent announcement and a critical situation affecting the attendance of top teams that you may have heard about. The episode will be postponed to a later date as a result.

This is clientside though, so you'd have to enable cheats, everyone will then have to do it manually, and then disable cheats again.
Depending on its flags it may be possible to have a server plugin force it on all clients.
However, we'd be entering promod territory by doing this, and I think it's infinitely better to let this play out and show Valve that it's broken than ruin what progress we've made with them by splitting off.
Something else interesting to consider: having map veto processes to determine the map(s) played each week? Not sure how viable it would be outside of the top division, but it would be another potential venue for strategy that we don't normally see outside of playoffs.
OsirisJust throwing an idea out there: How about trying the option of a three-minute freeze time(like a time out) at the start of a new round(once per map, once per team), using the EU ruleset? You could make a chat command which has to be given before the next round's freeze time stops or before the next round begins, just like pauses.
The problem with utilizing pre-round freeze time is that the map timer does not stop (and cannot be stopped manually with how it's implemented by Valve), so any such timeout eats into map time, which is ripe for strategic abuse.

even if you drop with xbow out it still drops a medigun for some reason
Consistent with CS:GO where you drop your best weapon. You can't avoid giving up your AK by holding out your pistol in that game, and same with this.
